Chapter 754 EVIL HERE

AIDEN’S POV

Aiden rode through the path leading out of the pack house gates.

He did not like this territory.

It was old and ancient.

It had been so far behind that all they did was simply collect taxes.

There was nothing to it.

To think that of all territories they owned this would be the one that held the moonstone.

He briefly thought of his brother and shook his head.

Whether Bale liked it or not, he was sending him back home.

The boy was fooling his head with stories that would put him in harm’s way.

He didn’t need that.

He was already too weak for that.

They rode on in silence as the men who knew where the mines were, led the way.

They rode through the small houses and Aiden didn’t think the population here was over twenty thousand men and women.

That was a ridiculous number compared to the other territories they own.

He sighed heavily to himself.

He never really cared much for the rural wolves whom were under them.

His mind had been raised to understand that as the next Alpha in line of the great moonlight pack, his say was infinite.

It didn’t matter what happened.

He was going to be Alpha.

They were irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

They made a stop at a little house and Aiden scowled.

One of the omegas escorting them came down from his horse and headed into the house.

He returned back.

Alone.

Aiden’s face went grim.

They waited for over five minutes and his face became a mask of thunder.

“Is he always this incompetent?” Aiden asked his voice being stead and yet speaking volumes.

The wolves looked at each other and Xaden didn’t want to know the answer to that Question anymore.

He swore to himself, got down from his horse while the other wolves tried to stop him.

“My Lord. Don’t worry. You don’t need to. We will get him.” They said immediately dismounting their horses.

Aiden rose his hand up, halting them in their tracks.

“I’ll be the one to handle it myself.” Aiden snorted.

He walked to the door and pushed it open.

The rowdy laughter and chatter he had heard from when he was outside now became loud and clear.

The house was noisy and filled with all sorts of people. Some were drunk on the floor, while others were still laughing amongst themselves, chattering.

It was whore house.

A sly girl in a very scanty dress that barely covered anything rose up from the table she had been lounging on and walked up to him.

From the moment she had set eyes on him, her dry expression had risen to glee.

She seductively trailed her hands over his shoulder and then his chest.

“Hello handsome. I haven’t seen you around here before.” She gave him her brightest smile.

He could smell the sour odor of sex.

He was not interested.

“Not today. Point me in the direction of the one called Aston.” He said with a commanding tone.

Instantly he could feel her own wolf become intimidated.

She swallowed and led him ahead before finally pointing to a room.

Once Aiden had seen where she had pointed to, the girl slid by his side and left quickly.

A single curtain was all that was left separating whoever was inside from the view of those outside.

Aiden opened the curtains and saw two naked she wolves lying down on Aston.

To think that a Beta had come in to get him out, while he, future Alpha, had stood outside waiting for Aston when he had been lounging here.

Burning in fury, Aiden marched to bed and used his hand to grab the ear of the slipping Aston.

“Hey! What the fuck!” Aston swore in pain as Aiden hurled him while barely holding on to his ear, on the ground.

Aston crashed into a vase and shattered it.

The naked girls jumped up from the bed, squealing in terror.

Aston was about to transform in rage, until he finally looked up and saw who he was coming face to face with.

“Aiden.” Aston stuttered through dumbfounded lips.

“Is this what you spend your day doing as future caretaker of the pack?” Aiden asked with disgust.

Aston looked down at his hands, his ear bleeding from how much Aiden had drawn it.

Aiden watched the pathetic naked boy.

If Aston wouldn’t have been needed in today’s mission he wouldn’t have bothered.

Above all, he hated anyone who wouldn’t do their job.

In a whore in the daytime?

How useless.

“If you delay me for over a minute. You will hate what I’ll do to you.” Was Aiden said.

With that he stormed out of the room.

He walked out of the whore house and in a matter of seconds Aston was behind him hurriedly dressing up.

Aiden had nothing but complete disgust written all over his face.

“My lord I am-

“Save it.” Aiden said turning away from Aston. “You will pay for your actions later.”

A horse was given to Aston and was made to lead the way.

Unfortunately, Aston had been the one to witness the report from the miners who had supposedly come across the strange path in the mine.

So he was needed.

For now at least.

To think that this was all they did in this pack.

Absolutely nothing.

Eventually they made their way to the foot of the mine where some Betas and Omegas had been waiting for them.

Aiden came down from the horse and walked towards the foot of the mine.

“You need to be careful.” Aston cautioned.

Aiden ignored him.

“The men who had witnessed it?” Aiden asked looking down at the dark hole.

“They are supposed to be on their way.” Aston replied.

Aiden hissed, slightly annoyed that he was going to have to wait again.

One of the miners came up behind Aiden and said. “My Lord. If I may speak to you.”

Aiden turned around and looked at the man that had dirt and charcoal all over his face.

Aiden cocked a brow.

For some strange reason the man spoke in low tones.

“There is evil here. Don’t go.”
