Chapter 768 The Debt
I glared at him in anger.
“I don’t know what makes you think you can control me.” I said through flared nostrils. “Or whatever game you think you’re playing. You’re yet to truly know me.”
I started to go after Alice.
I couldn’t imagine how she felt.
She now believe that I had betrayed her.
That she had opened up to me the entire time I had wanted Aiden for myself.
Alice was one of the only few friends in the pack .
The other she wolves snickered and hissed at me as I passed by.
Only Alice had been my friend.
And now hearing her use the words she had.
I felt cold shiver.
I hadn’t betrayed her.
I needed to tell her that I had no hand in whatever Aiden had been playing.
And then I felt his hands on my waist.
His firm grip against both sides of my waist as he hurled me to his very front.
Now there were barely any inches between the both of us.
“Where the hell do you think you’re going to?” He asked me.
I could feel his breath against me and his body barely an inch away.
There was an electrifying feeling just being up so close to him.
I couldn’t understand how I felt.
Why body was so tense and rigid.
And then my hands began to tremble, I felt uneasy.
It wasn’t fear.
It was something else.
Something I had never experienced neither did I understand.
“You have no idea what you’ve done.” I hissed at him. “I’m going after my friend!”
“I thought you had a smart mouth.” He remarked dryly. “Can’t you make friends. Especially with the male wolves. I see how they look at you.”
My hand against his chest in a bid to create some distance between us. “I’m not a cold and heartless wolf like you who doesn’t see the value in friends.”
I tried to push him away but he pulled me closer to me and I instantly regretted it.
I could feel him hard around my tummy.
I swallowed heavily.
“Let me go.” I said in a much calmer voice.
If being aggressive with him couldn’t get to him, then maybe being calm would.
“I need to meet my friend.” I said.
I was definitely not going to say please.
But I would still plead.
I saw his face hard. “Why is this friend so important to you. The same girl who pushed you on the floor?”
“She is furious with me because of you.” I snapped at him. “Because of you. I might have lost one of the few people who actually cared about me in this world.”
“What did I do?” He asked.
I blinked in disbelief. “You made me to be your hand maiden instead of her! She wanted to be it. She was supposed to be the one, not me.”
He looked genuinely confused. “Who?”
I blinked at him in disbelief. “You don’t even remember her do you?”
He blinked at me still lost.
And to think that I had just seen him with her this very morning.
I shook my head.
I had told Alice to be careful of wolves like him and I was write.
“You’re a monster.” I said shaking my head.
His brows furrowed together.
He obviously didn’t take well to being called names.
But frankly I didn’t care.
I had done it before and I would do it again.
“You just use she wolves and discard them like they have zero use don’t you?” I asked him in anger.
“Be careful.” He warned me.
“This morning when I saw you. The girl who had been running out of your room. She was the one. It was my friend you spent the night with.” I explained.
He still looked confused for a minute and then the realization finally came across his face.
“What does she have to do with any of this?” He asked me now looking more confused.
I chewed my bottom lip.
“You took her virginity you monster.” I blurted out.
I looked up at him, hoping that he would realize how much damage he had made.
“Her? A virgin?” He laughed aloud. “How rich. I don’t think she was a virgin with how she behaved last night. You’re so sharp mouthed and yet you’re naive enough to believe that she is a virgin. You’re more stupid than I expected you to be.”
“You bastard!” I snapped at him and started to punch his chest and wrestle free of his grip. “Let me go. Let me go!”
I struggled and struggled trying to break free of his hold but yet he hold me tighter.
Pressing my body hard against him.
I could feel his hardened self down against me.
I felt a sudden warmth all over my body.
“No. I’m not letting you go until I’m tired of you.” He said. “Until I’m done with you. And you I’ve tamed you down to the ground. You will do anything I tell you, whenever I tell you to.”
“I would never.” I hissed at him.
“You see. That’s why I like you. You’re so stubborn.” He smiled at me as he looked over my face. “I knew that I had to have something at least to hold against you.”
I blinked.
What was he talking about?
“Pet. If you don’t do as I say. Then your parents would have to pay for it.” He said to me with a malicious smile.
“I don’t care who your parents are. You don’t have a legal backing to hold my parents hostage.” I told him.
“But I do.” He explained. “If you’re owing me money.”
I rose a brow lost. “Owing you money? When did I ever borrow a dime from you.”
“You did.” He said. “From the moment i paid up your debt from your original debtors. You are now owing me a million gold coins.”
The moment he dropped the bomb my mouth dropped in shock.
