Sunday evening was finally here. It was the launching of the Wyndham Wardrobe new designs and the business district was busier than it used to be before.
In front of Wyndham Wardrobe’s headquarters, Guests stepped out of their cars, men in nice tuxedos and women in glittering gowns. They waved politely at the cheering crowd gathered behind barricades on both sides.

But the noise doubled at the arrival of the Wyndham family’s convoy.

long convoy of the most expensive cars rolled in, stretching down the street like a royal parade. Luxury vans, cars, and SUVs stopped in a perfect line. Bodyguards in black spread out, creating a shield as the car doors opened.
One by one, the Wyndham family stepped out, dressed in perfection. None of them were missing. The crowd screamed their names, flashes of camera lights everywhere.
Sia and Mia posed gracefully for the cameras, smiling as they entertained the reporters. They enjoyed the spotlight, basking in the attention that was given to them. The two sophisticated granddaughters–in–law of Alfred Wyndham, the man everyone admired and respected.
But the moment didn’t last because the attention shifted in an instant when another important member of the Wyndham family stepped out of her car. The photographers turned. The moment they saw Isla step out. Their attention shifted instantly. Cameras microphones rushed towards her like the show was for her. But their flashing lenses also captured the sudden grim expressions that crossed Sia and Mia’s faces.
Two bodyguards guarded her, pushing the crowd back to make room as she walked toward the backdrop with a graceful smile.
Gabriel, who had arrived in a separate car, moved quickly to catch up with her. They were supposed to come together as a couple–but since he hadn’t known where she was earlier, he had to come in a separate car.
Still, the public expected a show. And Gabriel never missed his cue. As soon as he reached her side, the bodyguards stepped aside for him. He slid his arm around Isla’s waist in an instant, pulling her close without asking. After all, she was his wife.
Isla did not flinch. She wasn’t surprised either. In fact, she had expected it. This was their usual performance- the picture of a perfect couple. Her smile stayed bright, not bordering on anything.
A reporter called out quickly, “Mr. Wyndham Jr., why did you and your lovely wife arrive in different cars tonight p>
Isla opened her mouth, but Gabriel answered the question, his voice strong and polished for the recordings. This is her event. I didn’t want to take that away from her. As much as it is my company, tonight belongs to my lovely wife. I am only here to support her p>
And with those charming words, he pulled Isla closer and before she could react–pressed his lips against hers in a slow, public kiss.
Isla gasped softly into his mouth, shocked by his boldness. He gave her no chance to prepare, no time to pull away.
The crowd erupted. Flashes of lights, focussing only at the lovebirds, and lighting up the entire street. Reporters screamed, trying to get the perfect shot. At that moment, every camera in Wyndham lane was on them. Their kiss would be on every headline by tomorrow morning. On social media? It was already spreading like wildfire.
