**Flashback p>
Earlier today, when Isla and her family arrived at the hospital, In the middle of the confusion, Isla saw someone
that made her pause.
She saw Delphine walking out of the hospital entrance, just by the main doors, dressed in a cream coat. Her eyes were hidden behind dark sunglasses. Isla froze for a moment, she looked shocked to see Delphine in this particular hospital, knowing fully well that Delphine was more frequent in Wyndham hospital
But Delphine didn’t see Isla or any of her family. She was so into a phone conversation.
Another thing that caught Isla’s attention was the man walking beside her–Doctor Raymond.
He was someone Isla knows too well.
Isla’s brows furrowed in surprise. Raymond was a long–time family friend, a respected gynecologist. What was he doing with Delphine? And what relationship did he have with her?
However, Isla brushed them aside and focused on her sister.
Her sister’s stretcher was already being wheeled inside. This was not the time. Maya’s life came first.
She turned away from Delphine and Raymond and ran inside after her family.

Isla smiled at him and left with Stone.
She headed straight to the reception desk, displaying a calm expression, but in reality, her heart was racing.
“Good afternoon,” she said, smiling politely at the nurse behind the desk. “Please, I’d like to see Doctor Raymond. It’s urgent. Tell him Isla… Isla Wyndham p>
The receptionist blinked in surprise. “One moment, please, Mrs. Wyndham.” She quickly made a call. A few seconds later, she ended the call and looked up with a cheerful smile.
“The doctor will see you now. And-” she hesitated shyly-“it’s such an honor to meet you in person, ma’am p>
“Thank you,” Isla said kindly. “The pleasure is mine. ”
“Just take the elevator to the third floor,” the nurse continued. “There’s another receptionist there. Tell her you’re here to see Doctor Raymond, and she’ll show you in p>
“Thank you so much.” Isla smiled kindly before she turned away.

Inside the elevator. Her mind kept returning to earlier hours when she saw Delphine, at the hospital with Raymond. It didn’t make sense.
When she stepped onto the third floor. A nurse pointed her toward an office at the end of the corridor. She stopped before the glass door and told Stone to wait outside.
She knocked once and walked inside, closing the door behind her.
As soon as she was in, the person inside was shocked. “Isla? My God, is that really you p>
She turned and smiled. “It’s been a while, Raymond p>
The young doctor rose up from his seat. He came around the desk and shook her hand warmly.
“You look amazing,” he said. “It’s been, what, two years since your wedding? You just disappeared on us. We only ever see you on television or magazines these days. You’ve really changed, Isla p>
“I’m sorry,” she said softly, sitting down when he offered her a chair. “Ive been busy. But tell me, how’s Lara? Your wife p>

Raymond’s eyes brightened. “She’s fine. We have two kids now –a boy and a girl.” Pride glowed in his voice.
“That’s wonderful,” Isla said with a sincere smile. “I’m happy for you both.” Suddenly, her tone shifted slightly, as she got serious. “Actually, I came here to ask for your help with something important p>
Raymond frowned a little, sensing the change in her voice. “Alright. Tell me p>

Then she began, looking directly into his eyes. “ Earlier today, I saw you with someone outside the hospital. A. popular model I believe p>
He hesitated. “…Delphine p>
“Yes. Delphine,” Isla said carefully. “How well do you know her p>
He straightened his posture, trying to be cautious. “She’s my patient. Why p>
“Because whatever information you give me about her today,” Isla said quietly, “could save my marriage p>
Raymond’s eyes widened slightly. He leaned back, looking confused. “Isla, I hope you’re not asking me for my patient history. You know that’s against hospital policy. A patient’s information is confidential. It’s my duty to protect that privacy p>
“I know,” Isla replied. “But please understand me too, Raymond. My marriage is about to collapse. I need this help p>
Raymond studied her with care. He trusted her words. But this is is life they are talking about. He knew how hard it is for someone to get employed these days. Aside from that, his career is what they’re talking about. “I understand,” he said softly, “but this hospital won’t tolerate anything like that. My work is my life. I can’t risk
it p>
For a moment, silence filled the room. Only the faint hum sound of the air conditioner could be heard.

Then Isla stood slowly. Her expression remained calm, but her eyes held a lot of determination. She knew him too well. She also knew what would tempt him.
So, she laid her care on the table.
“Tell me something, Raymond,” she began in a low voice. “What if I offer you something better? A position at Wyndham Hospital–your own private office. Full benefits, full everything? I know how skilled you are as a gynecologist. You deserve better than this place p>
He blinked, completely taken aback. That hospital was every doctor’s dream.
“But of course,” she continued, “it wouldn’t be free p>
Raymond stared at her, speechless. His fingers tightened around his pen. He didn’t say yes–but he didn’t say no either.
Isla smiled faintly, realizing her words were sinking into him. She pulled a small card from her purse and pushed it to him on his desk.
“That’s my direct number,” she said. “Twenty–four hours. That’s all I have. If by then I don’t get what I need, forget about working in the best hospital in Richbouph.” Content originally comes from.net

With that, she left the room, her heels tapping sharply on the marble floor. Stone straightened immediately and followed her down the hallway.
Raymond sat frozen behind his desk, staring at the card she left behind. His heart pounded as he turned it over in his hand.
