He went into the bathroom, took a shower, shaved the stubble from his lips, put on his suit, and went downstairs.

Melvin took the check, and Brian wrote down the number quickly and handed it to her.

She put the check into her bag and looked at Brian. “I’ll leave first. You should reflect on yourself.”
