Chapter 771

“Gracey, have you forgiven me?” Brian asked again.
These words were simply a threat from a hooligan.
Grace glared at him fiercely. In the end, Brian suddenly covered her eyes with his hand and leaned over to kiss her lips again.
Grace was so angry that she bit his lips.
Brian didn’t let go of her. Instead, he sucked her breath even more fiercely.
Grace was furious. She pushed him and said, “Let go of me first…”
“I’m not blaming you anymore. Go back to sleep first.” After a while, she was sweating and raised her hand to brush the hair on her face.
Brian smiled and leaned over to kiss her. Then, he said aggrievedly, “But it hurts. Look.” With that, he took off his clothes and showed her his back. The skin on his back looked like it had been beaten. It was bruised.
After saying that, he said coquettishly, “Gracey, can you let me sleep beside you?”
Grace bit her lip. The house they bought for Shawn and Jaclyn had three bedrooms. Shawn and Jaclyn lived in one room. Austin and Grace each occupied a room. There was only one storage room left.
Looking at Brian’s deer-like eyes, Grace said ruthlessly, “No, I’m already divorced from you. What right do you have to sleep in the same bed as me?”
“We were kissing just now. What’s wrong with me sleeping with you for a while?” Brian said with an evil smile.
“How dare you say that!” Grace punched him hard. “Get out.”
Grace chased Brian out of her bedroom heartlessly.

The next morning, Grace made a phone call. She asked someone to send a mattress there.
As soon as she hung up, she received a call from Justin.
“How’s Austin?” Justin asked.
Grace thought about how Austin’s autism had not improved at all. Her heart was a little heavy, but she didn’t want Justin to worry, so she said, “She’s already much better. Thank you, Justin.”
“I’m calling to tell you that Serena is back. She’s coming over to check on Austin .” “Really? When?”
“She’ll be here at five in the afternoon. I’ll pick her up at the airport.”
“Then I’ll go with you.”
“Okay.”
After Grace finished settling the matters in the afternoon, she went to the airport with Justin.
“What does Serena like to eat? Let’s have dinner together tonight,” said Grace.
Justin frowned and thought for a moment before shaking his head. “I don’t know either.”
“Why don’t we eat roast meat? She’s been so busy. She probably rarely eats roast meat, right?”
Justin nodded. “Okay.”
After picking up Serena, it was rush hour, and there was a traffic jam on the way home. When they reached home, Jaclyn had already prepared the roast meat.
Carson and Vivian sat together. Brian carried Austin. There were empty seats on the left and right.
As soon as they entered, Jaclyn looked at Justin and was stunned. Then, she looked at Shawn and whispered something.
Vivian didn’t expect Justin to be here as well. She awkwardly leaned toward Carson.
Jaclyn looked at her daughter, cleared her throat, and asked Justin and Serena to sit down.
No one noticed this subtle
abnormality. Only Serena was sensitive enough to capture it. Her gaze swept across Justin and Vivian’s faces.
Grace sat down next to Brian and introduced him to everyone.
Serena smiled and looked at Austin gently. “Austin, do you still remember me?”
Austin didn’t say anything. Although
everyone at the dining table knew
each other today, she was still a little nervous because there were many people. Her body was stiff as she nestled in Brian’s arms.
