Dean felt that what Nova said to him made sense. There were somethings that he needed to refuse to do.
He had helped Louise a lot before. He thought that she could put in a good word for him in front of Brian and he could get a promotion and a raise. However, a few years had passed, and he had not gained anything.

Louise quickly finished her work and left with Brian.
