Chapter 661

“I don’t know her name. I only remember that the couple kept calling her Joy.”
“Joy… what’s her last name?” Grace inquired.
“Her surname is Greene.”
There were more and more clues, but if they couldn’t find this family, they wouldn’t be able to find their lost child. What should they do?
Suddenly, Grace had an idea. “Okay, so you say you know this child. The child must be five years old. She’s in kindergarten. Which kindergarten is she in?”
“That’s right. There should be a photo of the child in the kindergarten. She went to Raya Kindergarten. It’s down the street.”
“Thank you, thank you!” Grace bowed to the child’s neighbors and thanked them before rushing to the kindergarten.

The sun was scorching hot. Grace looked like she wasn’t getting tired and couldn’t feel the heat. She walked quickly down the street, wishing she could grow four legs.
Brian followed behind her, clearly tired. He still had his head wrapped in gauze. Sweat soaked the wound, and it burned.
He called out weakly, “Honey, I can’t walk anymore.”
Grace looked back at him and comforted him. “Brian, hold on a little longer, okay?”
Brian frowned. He really wanted to rest, but he gritted his teeth and insisted. “Okay.”
The two of them continued forward. After walking for a while, Brian suddenly stopped walking.
She turned around and saw Brian holding his head with both hands and frowning fiercely. It was as if he was enduring immense pain.
Grace was shocked. “Brian, what’s wrong?”
Brian had a splitting headache. He saw a tree trunk by the roadside and went forward to hit his head on the tree trunk.
Grace widened her eyes in shock and hurriedly went forward to stop him. “Brian, what are you doing?” “Give me some space! I have a headache!” Brian bellowed.
“No, you’ll die!” Grace exclaimed.
Brian was very strong. He pushed Grace away. “Move!”

A dull thud sounded. Brian hit his head against the tree to ease his pain.
“Brian! No!” Grace shrieked.
Brian suddenly stopped after a few consecutive collisions. Then, his body fell straight down.
Grace quickly caught his body. “Brian!”
He had already fainted.
Grace was so anxious that tears fell again. “Brian…” She tried to help him up, but his body was too heavy. She tried her best but could not help him up.
Grace was filled with strength again because she remembered Austin might be on the same island as her.
She pulled Brian up from the ground with all her might and carried him for a few steps before finally bumping into a kind-hearted passerby who drove them to the best hospital on the island.
After the doctor’s examination, Grace asked worriedly, “Doctor, how… how’s my husband doing?”
“There are blood clots in his head. The clots have put pressure on his nerves. He will experience severe head pain quite often,” the doctor explained.
“Then… when will his condition improve?” Grace asked.
“That depends on his luck. I’ll prescribe some medicine and try to let him rest as much as possible. Don’t run around,” the doctor replied.
“Alright, thank you, doctor,” Grace
nodded. Initially, she wanted to return to Capern City for treatment but now that she knew that Austin was on the island, she decided to stay and treat Brian while looking for Austin.
After the doctor finished prescribing the medicine, he told Grace, “There’s one more thing. In his current condition, his intelligence has basically returned to when he seven or eight years old, including
as
some behavior.”
Grace frowned. ‘Is Brian not pretending to be stupid?’ she wondered. “Are you saying that his brain got damaged? Will he still be like this when he regains his memory in the future?”
“Well, it’s hard to say.” The doctor shrugged.
