Serena’s heart was beating a little fast. She held her heart and secretly let out a breath.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped outside Serena’s neighborhood.
Justin’s gaze fell on the steering wheel. He slowly turned to look at her. “I’ve thought it through.”
Serena held her breath nervously.
“Let’s go to city hall tomorrow,” said Justin.
Serena’s mind was in a daze. She was still in a daze after she left the car and entered the neighborhood.
She repeated Justin’s words countless times in her mind. But she still couldn’t believe what Justin had said.
Until a text message from Justin came in. “Tomorrow at 10 a.m. I’ll pick you up and take you to city hall.”
Serena looked at the words “city hall” and saw them clearly on her phone screen. Justin sent the message to her.
