Chapter 97 A Morning of Concern
With Edward alone in the hospital, Arabella wanted to be there to share meals and keep him company whenever she could.
“That’s perfectly fine. You can let me know what Edward likes to eat. I’ll have the kitchen prepare some things you can take to him,” Florence offered kindly.
“Okay, thank you, Mom,” Arabella said, her eyes softening with gratitude.
After all, Edward was essentially a stranger to Florence. Her willingness to care came entirely from her love for Arabella.

Naomi, eating her breakfast beside them, felt a pang of jealousy. Aside from his initial greeting, Frank hadn’t really looked at her.
So the Macdonalds went bankrupt – it hasn’t really affected her. Why is she playing the victim to get everyone’s sympathy?
