“Got it. I’m well aware of what you’re capable of,” Arabella replied with a faint smile.

“Alright, that’s everything from me. I should get going now.” Arabella said her goodbyes to Ethan.

“Where are you off to next?” Ethan asked, looking at her.

“Where else? Mom’s probably home by now. I’m heading straight back to Cloudrise Manor,” Arabella answered, intending to go check on Florence.

“Then I’ll come back with you,” Ethan offered, seeing she was returning home.

Arabella glanced at him, her face full of confusion. “Don’t you have work p>

“I can work if I feel like it, or not.” Ethan shrugged casually. “With you in the picture, I’ll be seeing a nice return soon enough anyway. Taking a little time off won’t hurt p>

Arabella couldn’t help but laugh at his relaxed attitude.

He really wasn’t that different from someone who was unemployed. The only distinction was that he made money even when he wasn’t working.

She wished she could have that kind of life someday.

For a moment, he regretted giving in to her request so easily.

Driving such a beater to his corporate office was anything but low–key–it actually drew more

After all, most people who came to see him were driving luxury cars or sleek sedans; nobody

If he hadn’t given his assistant instructions beforehand, Arabella probably wouldn’t have even made it past the security gate today…

“If there’s no problem, I’m getting in.” Arabella shot Ethan a quick smile and headed toward her car.

“Drive carefully,” Ethan couldn’t help but call out, a hint of concern in his voice.

Not long after, they both arrived back at Cloudrise Manor.

Once her car was parked, Arabella got out and walked with Ethan toward the main villa.

Entering the grand foyer, they found Naomi and Ruby leisurely arranging the luxury items they had bought that day.

Since Arabella had left the exhibition early, she hadn’t seen any of these purchases.

They had specifically waited in the foyer for her return, hoping to spark a little envy.

“You’re back? Where’s Mom?” Ethan asked, noticing Naomi and Ruby fussing over something in the open living area.

Hearing Ethan’s voice, Naomi immediately looked toward the entrance.

“Ethan, you’re back so early?” She quickly put down the designer bag in her hands and addressed him.

“Arabella stopped by my office today. I didn’t have much else going on, so I drove back with her,” Ethan replied as he walked toward the large sectional sofa.

“Arabella?” Naomi stared at her in shock.

She had gone to Ethan’s office?

As far as she knew, Ethan rarely invited family to his workplace.

She had been there a few times herself, but only to drop off forgotten items or documents.

Arabella had only been back for a few days, and she’d already been invited to his company?

“Arabella must have a lot of free time, visiting Ethan’s office. Does she even know anything about finance…” Ruby muttered under her breath, looking at Arabella with clear disbelief.

Ethan ran an investment firm. Did she understand the first thing about markets or portfolios?

Going to his office just to look around? How pointless!

“What would you know? Arabella has sharp instincts when it comes to investments. She’s on the same level as the professionals I work with.” Ethan frowned slightly, immediately refuting Ruby’s comment.

Both Ruby and Naomi looked utterly surprised.

Exchanging a quick glance, neither of them believed it. They were sure Ethan was just being nice or exaggerating to make her feel included.

Arabella couldn’t be bothered with them. She moved to sit down but noticed the sofa was buried under a mountain of shopping bags and boxes.

Ethan saw several luxury totes and boxes taking up the entire couch, leaving no space for Arabella. He immediately scowled. “Whose stuff is all this? Why is it covering the whole sofa p>

It wasn’t just a few items; the cushions were currently piled high with designer goods, making it impossible to find a spot to sit.

“Ethan, these are all the things I bought at the showcase today. See if there’s anything you like? I can give it to you,” Naomi said to him with a bright smile.

She then picked up a particularly eye–catching leather briefcase and presented it to Ethan.

“Ethan, look at this. It was the most sought–after men’s bag at the event today. I had to pull some strings and pay over the list price to get it before anyone else.

“Try it,” Naomi urged, hoping he’d take it.

But Ethan replied coolly, “I’ve never liked carrying a briefcase. Don’t you know that by now p>

Naomi’s smile instantly froze on her face.

He was right. In her eagerness to show off her exclusive find, she’d forgotten that Ethan preferred a minimalist style and never carried a bag, not even for work.

Ruby quickly jumped in to help. “Ethan, you might not usually like them, but you could try it?

I think this one suits you. You could use it for your tablet or important files p>

Naomi could only nod along earnestly. “Yeah, exactly p>
