“Alright.” Lucas turned to the booth attendant. “Let’s get ten rings each.”

The attendant quickly counted them out. “Here you go, ten each.”

Arabella and Lucas took the rings, gave them a quick feel, and then exchanged a glance.

“What are the rules?” Lucas asked with a smile.

“Whoever lands a ring on the highest–point slot first wins,” Arabella proposed.

Lucas nodded. “Deal.”

They both began immediately, focusing intently as they aimed for the top–value peg on the board.

“Oh, that was close!”

“They just started–I think they’ve got a real chance.”

“Yeah, no need to rush it.”

The spectators murmured with excitement.

Even the player who had been determined to win the top prize earlier stopped to watch the two compete.

“Just got lucky.” Arabella shrugged lightly.

“Well, you win. Want to keep playing anyway?” Lucas asked.

Arabella glanced at her remaining rings. “Might as well use them up.”

Chapter 390 Gifts Prizes

With no specific target now, the two tossed their remaining rings more casually.

Before long, they had collected several more tickets from lower–point slots.

“Just having some fun.” Lucas handed Arabella the large stuffed bear. “You hold this–I’ll carry the rest, but they’re all yours anyway.”

Arabella patted the bear’s head, then walked over to the young man who still stood nearby looking defeated.

“You were trying for this the whole time–is it meant as a gift for someone special?” she asked gently.

The young man looked up, startled, then nodded quietly. “My sister’s birthday is coming up… I really wanted to win this for her.”

Money was tight, and he couldn’t afford to buy a nice gift–so he’d spent what little he had on game tickets, hoping for a lucky win.

Arabella’s expression softened. “That’s really thoughtful of you.”

“It’s just the two of us… I wish I could give her more, but…” He trailed off, guilt clouding his face.

“Here, take this.” Arabella held out the large bear to him.

“For me?” The young man froze. Was she just… giving it away?

Arabella spoke kindly, “You’re a good brother. I’m sure if you keep working hard, you’ll be able to give your sister a wonderful life one day. And I bet having you there for her already makes her really happy.”

Earlier, she had noticed his determination carried a certain weight. Now she understood why.

The young man seemed to straighten up a little, his expression growing more resolved. “I will. I promise.”

Seeing him still hesitate, Arabella gently pushed the bear into his arms. “Take it,”

“But I…” He flustered, unsure how to respond.

Edward spoke up quietly, “It’s alright–please accept it.”

“Take these too.” Lucas handed over the rest of the smaller prizes. “Consider them extra birthday gifts from all of us.”

“But you worked so hard for these!” Giving them away just like that?

“Really, keep them. We were just here for fun–it’s the company that matters, not the prizes.” Edward’s gaze was warm and encouraging.

Finally, overwhelmed with gratitude, the young man accepted, repeating his thanks several times. “Thank you… thank you all so much!”

“Go on home to your sister,” they told him before continuing on their way,

The young man watched them disappear into the crowd, then looked down at the pile of gifts in his arms, feeling like he’d just woken from a dream.
