Cloria looked at Ulrik as he pulled her down to her knees.
She felt freezing cold. Even though it was June, the chill from the floor kept seeping into her knees.
But she had to bow her head and apologize, shakily saying “I’m sorry.”
As a female wolf who had mated twice, she couldn’t bear the guilt of making the Alpha’s mother sick, no matter how wronged and reluctant she felt.
