On the return journey, after checking into a hotel, Adelaide mentioned to Paisley, “Don’t you think you should inform the Stephens family/about choosing a godmother? It’s a significant decision and adds a new connection in the capital.”
“No need. Except for my mating ceremony, I can decide my own matters,” Paisley replied wi laugh.
