Adelaide said worriedly. “He’s part of omm Davidson family, like an uncle to me Valentin mentioned that this uncle of mine left the capital today It his mate and kids were kidnapped by Madison’s people, I fear he might also be in Madison’s clutches.”
Paisley exclaimed, “Does Madison know about om plan?”
Adelaide shook her head, her pupils flickering with concealed anger. “No. It’s because Cassius bears a striking resemblance to my father in his youth. And since he’s only in his twenties, young and similar in looks, I’m afraid.”
Everyone understood her spoken fears.
Paisley fumed, “Madison’s a madwoman! She’s gathered so many who resemble your parents, What’s her end game? Being targeted by her is sheer bad luck, even for family”
Adelaide clenched the armrest, her eyes filled with anxiety/“Our dilemma is this: if we rescue them tonight, tomorrow’s plan might be compromised, tipping them off. But if we wait, they might be killed”
Paisley argued, “Waiting until tomorrow introduces too many variables. Let’s rescue them. A pregnant woman and two children in the hands of those wolves–they won’t stay unharmed.”
Caldwell interjected, “If they intended to kill, they would have done it outright, no need to bring them to the dungeon…”
He trailed off, realizing even if they weren’t killed, torture was likely.
Lance mused for a while, then said, “The only solution is for me to secretly infiltrate the dungeon and monitor them. If they act, I act, if not, I hide until your operation tomorrow night.”
Only Lance and Adelaide could sneak into Madison’s mansion and hide in the dungeon. Besides, Lance had a higher chance of success.
Paisley asked, “Do we have a map of Madison’s mansion? Where’s the dungeon?”
Lance replied, “We must have a map. We’re acting tomorrow night”
Paisley felt a pang of frustration.
She and Wendy were in charge of intelligence but had failed to gather such crucial info.
She said, “How did you place moled there? Madison’s mansion is notoriously hard to infiltrate, yet you managed multiple key positions seamlessly.”
Caldwell didn’t want to mention the toilet cleaning detail.

He glanced at Adelaide, reassuring her, “Don’t worry. I’ll protect them.”
Adelaide nodded trustingly. “Be careful too.”
“I will,” he said with a warm smile, exuding confidence.

He added, “Madison’s wolf guards and warriors aren’t elite, but they’re competent. My only challenge is quietly infiltrating the dungeon and hiding. I’ve studied the dungeon map; there are places to conceal myself.”
“Good. Caution is key,” Adelaide said.
She knew Madison’s security was formidable, just a different tier from the Blackthorn Pack.
Infiltrating quietly would be challenging.
Madison’s mansion had five hundred wolf warriors on guard. Though many were incompetent, there were still capable ones, like Captain Lacius.
Adelaide said, “We should restrain Sophia. She’s been relaying our plans, including the October 15th disturbance at Madison’s mansion. With Lance gone tonight, let’s detain her to prevent her from informing Madison.”
Paisley volunteered, “Leave it to me.”
Adelaide and Lance returned to the villa. The mingling of fir and cedar pheromones created a steady warmth.
After arranging for Sophia and Beata to leave, Adelaide helped Lance into his outfit. Her fir pheromones betrayed a hint of worry as her fingers brushed the fabric.
