For a moment, Osvaldo had thought Penny would feel pity for them as usual. But seeing how tough his Penguin was, he looked like a proud husband.

blue eyes stared steadily at the man he had hit earlier and then a few men in black clothe picked him up quietly.

That was one of Polar’s men, and Osvaldo could see a lot of them positioned in strategic places. He needed to communicate with his people, that was why he had missed hitting Maybelline and had hit that man instead.

“How can you do this to us Penny? You’ll pay for the humiliation.” Maybelline screamed dramatically as they dragged her out of the hall.

“Give me back my shoes, it’s worth millions, I want it baaaacccckkkk.” May screamed dramatically as they dragged her out.

When they reached outside, Maybelline stepped inside the car with her husband David. Abby stepped in with her husband and then Ariana stepped in the car too, but she was without Chris. She wasn’t even thinking about him at the moment.

All she thought about was the humiliation and embarrassment Penny had caused her. She felt like killing Penny with her bare hands.

The guards waited outside for them to leave before stepping back inside.

“This is all your fault Ariana. Look at the humiliation we’re all facing because of you!” Maybelline yelled at her daughter.

“Well, I never asked anyone to come with…”

“We’re all in this predicament because of you. I got turned fat because of you. Abby’s legs got cut out because of you.” May yelled. “All you’ve done is bring problems to us.”

“That’s enough.” Gregory said calmly but May shot him a glare. She’s had enough of her daughter. She couldn’t take it anymore.

The Penelope they had all treated like nothing. The illiterate they thought would never amount to anything, was actually the one with their lives in her hands.” May didn’t know what to do.

She needed to find a way to get that cure from Penny. She couldn’t end her life being fat with so many health complications. How would she survive it?

“It’s all Penny’s fault if we’re looking at it from another angle. She knew I was sick, she knew the cure to my illness, yet she let he suffer and my feet to be taken from me. Penny is evil.” Abby said.

“I always told you but you never listened. It’s enough she stole Ari’s life with the madman, Ariana should be the one with the madman,not Penelope. But here we are.”

“She’s just a snake that crawled her way to the top, but not for long.” Abby said. “A terrorist is in the building with them tonight.” Abby laughed.

“How so?” Maybelline asked.

“Remember the man I told you decieved me I to owing him?” Abby asked Maybelline and she nodded.

“Well, he’s unfortunately the same man that killed Dewitt Adkins and had been after the madman for years because of his brain. But since the madman is still mad and Penny is the genius now and is having his children, they’re out for her.

They’re on a mission to carry her.” Abby added.

“No, they can’t. How do I get treated?” May asked.

“Clam down May, you’ll get treatment. Because when she’s under his care, she’ll do anything we ask. Including making the drugs to cure us and also making Ariana her apprentice.” May smiled at Abby’s words. Abby has never made more sense to her like today. This was brilliant.

“Oh, we should help him capture her then. We must get treated immediately.” May said desperately.

“There’s no need helping, Mr Polar has more than enough guards to take care of her. They’re all in that room with them. It’s going to be a bloody bath tonight.” Abby smirked, feeling like a queen with so much information.

“According to what he said, he said they’re going to get Penny tonight. No matter what. It doesn’t matter how many people they have to kill.” Abby said.

*Clap Clap Clap* May clapped in excitement. She turned to her husband who had a frown on his face as he stared at his cellphone.

“Did you hear her baby, we’re going to get better soon.” May smiled.

“My family just announced cutting ties with us after you and Ariana’s display tonight. The public are mad at you.” David said gently and May smile fell.

In the hall, Penny conversed with the student she had picked to be her apprentice. She was so happy she had found a helper, someone she could train too with everything she knew, the same way her master had trained her.

“Also, everyone, I have a very important announcement to make.” Penny said ignoring Osvaldo and his warning completely.

Polar sat at the back, analyzing her stomach, and everything he would gain tonight if he caught this big fish. Even though she was an Adkin and a Bloodsworth, that wasn’t enough to save her from the higher ups. If they could kill Dewitt, then little Penny was no match for them.

“I have discovered the cure of cancer. It’s medically proven and will be on sale soon.” Polar frowned immediately.

It shouldn’t get to this. No one should find the cure of cancer. It’s the highest paying illness in the world, even if the patients eventually dies.

This is Mr Frank, he has been out patients for two weeks now. He was diagnosed of leukemia and is now getting better.” Penny said as the crowd erupted in cheers.

The news alone was enough to shake the globe. The genuis Miss Pen has found the cure to cancer, what a beautiful thing.

Everyone sang her praises and cheered for her.

Penny stared at Osvaldo with the ‘I told you so’, look but he didn’t look her way. His blue eyes was rather in the crowd and she wondered what he was looking at like that.

Osvaldo has been acting like anyone would just grab her from the crowd. There were bodyguard around, what could go wrong?

Immediately, the sound of gun echoed so loud that everyone immediately bent, trying to save their lives, including Penny who sought comfort in Osvaldo only to realize he was the one shot.

Penny’s eyes turned wide in horror. “Os…” He covered her lips with his palm from screaming.

Another gun was fired and the people erupted. Screams were heard from one angle to another. Everyone ran around, looking for the next exit, but all doors were blocked.

Everyone wanted to save their head. Xavier and his brother searched for Penny, while also saving Sofie. He couldn’t let anything happen to his child.

His blood cannot die this way…

She has not told him she was planning something this stupid. He would have never asked her to release such important news. They would have tightened her security first.

“I told you this would be a disaster.” Osvaldo said with a smile. “You have become a target around the word Penguin. Everyone wants a piece of you now.” He smiled and sat up.

“Are you going to die, you were shot.” Penny cried as she stared at him. She hadn’t meant it this way. When he warned her about it, she had no idea this was the gravity of the situation.

She cannot lose her Osvaldo, not like this.

“I’m sorry Osvaldo. I… I shouldn’t have said anything.” Penny cried.

“That’s okay, I’m not dying Penguin.” She looked up at him.

“I can only die by natural cause. Maybe when I’m old.” He laughed, but she didn’t find it funny at all. She was talking about important things and he was talking about not dying?

He was literally shot. Penny removed her scarf as she tried to wrap it around the spot he was shot to at least control the blood flow so that he doesn’t bleed to death.

When she removed his hands, she didn’t find any hole. Just dried blood. Penny searched for the wounded spot but she couldn’t find any.

“Are you looking for the bullets.” Osvaldo threw the bullet away and rose. Penny stared at him with wide eyes. The part that has been bleeding right now, had sealed up.

How is that possible?

“Take off your clothes quickly.” Osvaldo said and she took out her lab coat. She removed his shirt and wrapped it around her body, tossing the lab coat aside as he sneaked his Penguin out of the building.

“Make sure her family is safe and the student. Kill the intruders.” Osvaldo said to the man that approached him. He picked his Penguin up immediately and placed her in the car.

Once Osvaldo was inside the car, the chauffer drove off.

Penny who was still too shocked sat quietly in the car…
