Polar looked around anxiously, searching for the next escape out. He brought out his cellphone and failed a number. He needed to to out of here before anyone sees him, and even though they would find Penny, it shouldn’t be with him.
He needed to return to the Bloodsworth family and pretend. Perhaps, today is not a good day to kidnap Penny as there’s no escape out. But he’d find another means to taking her another day. He needed plans and patience.
“Your time working with the team has come to an end. It is time for your death. Meet me on the general road immediately and take my place.” He said to the man on the other end and hung up.
It always happened this way. They get hired and sign their lives away to the system. Once a major hold in the system needs cover up, they give their lives away. But in return, their families get a huge amount of money. That’s all that matters.
The world was a cruel place, and the ways of wealthy men were different from that of the normal.
The man arrived in no time and Polar walked away. He stood at a corner and watched the Adkins armies reach his van.
These men had no identity, no face. They only answered to one man. The mad heir. But to Polar and the rest of the world, they thought they answered to three people. The three wise men of the Adkins family, A.k.a, the Adkins lawyers.
When they found Penny’s body, they surrounded the car and carried his man for questioning. Those men were trained not to speak about anything concerning the organization. If they did, they would endanger not only their lives, but that if their families.
Polar started running away. He needed to get back to the Bloodsworth estate before the armies so that he could form another story in his head. He couldn’t be caught. He’d lay low for now, and observe for a while before striking again.
One his way back, he got into a bush where another of his men stayed. “Did you contact the police about a missing person?” Polar asked.
“Yes sir.”
“Did you cause a scene in the roared duck spot?” He asked another as they messed up his clothes.
“Yes sir. One woman even suggested us going to the police.” The man said and Polar smiled. That’s the perfect plan. It’s annoying his plans didn’t work out today, but there will be opening another day, and he’ll be brutal.
He stepped out from the small bush looking like a helpless man, with wound on his face. His feet were bare, like someone that was attacked as he started running towards the Bloodsworth estate.
The armies called Osvaldo who was seated in his car, waiting for them. Hell knows how much he tried to control himself from lashing out on the street and on everyone.
“Sir, we’ve found madam.” Osvaldo didn’t know what true joy was without his Penguin until he heard those words. His world…
His life…
“How’s she. Did he do anything to her?”
“No master. Madam seems to be sleeping so soundly.” He let out a silent sigh.
“Send me your location, I’ll take her home myself.” He said gently and hung up. He pressed his forehead to the wheel of the car, taking a long deep breath as he let it all out.
Nothing in this world can make him lose his cool as much as that little woman who had stepped into his world and turned it into a science project. He had imagined not seeing her smile anymore, or her little scolding, or her naughtiness when around him.
He drove away immediately.

The man who had parked along side Polar saw the armies around the car as they dragged a man out of the car. He knew from the start that that man was suspicious. The pregnant woman had looked like the one plastered around the city, but he didn’t want to say a word.
But why did the man they’re holding look a little strange?
Why did he look different from the man he had seen earlier?
Meanwhile, in the police station, Xavier Bloodsworth in his mighty power threatened to close the entire place down if they didn’t find his child.
One man turned the mighty forces and police men into little puppies looking for escape at his excruciating presence. He looked like a demon ready to born down the entire station filled with men of power and status.
“Mr Bloodsworth, please calm down, my men are looking for her. We’ll make sure to turn the entire city upside down, no one will sleep tonight until you find your daughter.” The man said.
Penny, once a fat girl so invisible that not even an ant seemed to know of her existence, had become the world’s most precious diamond. Treasured, protected, and admired by the most influential figures across the globe. The beloved princess and sole heiress of the Bloodsworth Empire… and the future matriarch of the formidable Adkins clan.
“And have they found her yet?” Xavier asked almost losing his patience. He swore he would bring down this city if his daughter is not found.
Barry stared at his brother. He could only imagine what Osvaldo was doing out there. Two mad men looking after one precious girl. He could say, Penny’s in safe hands. If not the safest.
Barry’s phone beeped immediately and he smiled. It was text from Osvaldo, he clicked on it and his eyes turned wide…
