A pair of blue eyes followed the dirty looking man in mud clothes and messy hair. Polar tried his best to avoid the gaze of the scary bodyguard. He didn’t know what the man’s problem was. He was just a guard, he had no idea why he acted like the girl was his lover.
Darlington stepped out of the mansion to see his grandson and grand daughter in law in perfect health and he sighed. He had almost had a heart attack partying and searching everywhere for them. He thought something really bad had happened to Penny.
“She is okay?” He asked to see a Osvaldo nod gently. When Osvaldo reached Penny’s room, Osvaldo he placed her gently on her bed, pressing his lips on her forehead.
“I’m sorry about earlier.” Barry said from the door and the pair of blue eyes met his, but Osvaldo said nothing to him. He was learning to swallow whatever er bullshit thrown at him. What he didn’t know is how long he can endure.
“Are you guys willing to keep the Gardner in here after everything?” Osvaldo asked and Barry sighed.
“He would have been fired, but Xavier wants him here to annoy you.” Came Barry’s words but Osvaldo said nothing. He was only silent because of his Penguin, she didn’t want problems with her family, but that doesn’t mean he’d jeopardize her safety with the stupid peace.
“My patience is wearing thin.” Osvaldo said. Barry was still amazed at how he spoke so casually. He didn’t know much about the madman, but if there’s one thing he knew, it was that, the madman could not speak.
Osvaldo always ran around the mansion, playing and messing himself up. How is he able to act and love normally?

In the lounge, Mary say next to Xavier and their housekeeper Hughes who had almost had a heart attack because of her Miss Penny. She didn’t know what to do with that little woman.
Penny is the only person that has been able to mess with her fragile heart over and over again without mercy.
They were all still shocked and lost in their thoughts about what had happened. The people in the city had not recovered from the shock. But it has been announced on the news that Penny was found.
The Bloodsworth triplet had all calmed down, but they were all flying into the country immediately to see for themselves that Penny was fine. One thing they never joked with was their little sister that has suffered her whole life.
Penny was like their little angel, carrying little angels in her womb too. Her family members didn’t play with her.
The police force that had witnessed Xavier Bloodsworth craziness were still in shock by what had happened. Never in their life have they experienced something like that before.
What did they expect? Penny was the richest woman in the world right now. The most powerful soul alive and Osvaldo Adkins successor. She was a big shot.
“We need to tighten the security in the mansion Xavier.” Mary said gently still not able to catch her breath. She didn’t want to imagine the worst, of what would have happened if Penny had not been found.
“I want Landon fired.” Xavier suddenly said and Mary’s eyes turned wide.
“Why’s that? So far he’s been the best bodyguard for Penny and she seems to love the man.” Mary said gently.
“It’s not about what she loves, it’s about her safety. Everybody is a suspect around my child.” Xavier muttered. He was doing what he thinks would be best for his child.
A bodyguard that didn’t want money from them no matter how much they gave him. What if he wants to kidnap his child and collect a ransom from them. And the only reason Landon’s plans hadn’t worked today, was because he had been caught in time and he knew the entire city would be closed down.
Why else would he bring her back himself?
Where did he even bring her from?
Xavier got up, leaving Hughes and Mary behind as she walked towards Penny’s room.
Barry stepped back into the lounge, staring at the back of his brother who said nothing to him.
“What’s wrong with him?” Barry asked his wife.
“Master Xavier wants to fire Landon sir. I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Hughes said gently and Barry frowned.
Hughes had no idea Barry already knew who Landon truly was. She was still thinking of a way to try and defend her master when Barry ran off too.
“What’s wrong with him too?” Mary asked exhausted.
“I have no idea. But let me help you massage your shoulders a little. They seem tense.” Hughes said.
“They are tense.” Came Mary’s words and the Adkins housekeeper started massaging her shoulders gently. Mary threw her eyes back into her head at the thrill that came from it. Hughes didn’t need to do much to make her relax again.
Barry rushed towards his brother and stopped him before he reached Penny’s room. “Don’t do it Xavier. Landon did nothing, if anything, he had been the one to protect her.” Barry said.
“What’s your obsession with the bodyguard and why do you want him to stay?” Xavier asked.
“He saved us all the night of the reveal. He saved Penny today after she was kidnapped. What other bodyguard do you think is more qualified than Landon?” Xavier was silent for a while.
“We’ll leave Penny to decide that. I need to see how my child is doing.” Xavier walked away and Barry let out a long silent sigh before tailing behind him.
He knew his brother. And he knew the madman. Both men can bury the world for Penny. The last thing Barry wanted to see happen was then fighting.
He didn’t think earth would be able to contain their fight if it ever happens.
