“Justin,” she called out softly.

“Justin?” Serena called out again.
“Yes?” He snapped out of his reverie and looked at her. “What is it?”
“Come with me to the laboratory,” Serena smiled and said.
“Okay.”
Walking on the path, Serena casually asked, “How long have you known Grace?”
“Five years.” Justin’s gaze became a little meaningful for a moment.
“Five years…” Serena murmured, “Then, you should know about the matter between her and Mr. Brian, right?”
Justin frowned slightly and nodded.
Serena could tell that he had a lot on
his mind. She said casually, “But it seems like she doesn’t want to reconcile with her ex-husband.”

intend to reconcile with Brian, she won’t accept me.’
He looked up at the sky and heaved a sigh of relief. “Yes, at least, for now.”

Justin laughed and glanced at her. “I really can’t hide anything from you.”

brought her here. Justin, you always
have a gentle look on your face.
You’re very gentle to everyone, but
you’re very restrained to everyone.”
Serena smiled and thought of the past. “I still remember how popular you were in school, but when you faced those girls who confessed to you, your attitude was always cold and heartless. In this aspect you’re quite similar to Grace.”
Justin smiled without saying anything.
After a while, Serena asked again, “Are you not going to fight for it?”
Justin looked at her and shook his head. “If I had a chance with her, we would have been together five years ago.”
