Chapter 560
Leonore’s curiosity, already piqued, went into overdrive. “Ann, just tell me! What is it?”
“Well, I wasn’t going to say anything, but since you asked Ann trailed off, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “The truth is, Daniel is coming here to confess his feelings for me.”
It was said that people in love shared a psychic connection, and Ann felt it strongly now. Daniel was traveling all the way from Neon Spire to attend her tea party. He would surely seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to declare his love in front of everyone. They had been separated by distance for too long, leaving him insecure. Ann’s eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of disdain flashing within them. What was Leonore implying? That she was lying?

Leonore had always thought Caitlin had the best fortune, being both the heir to the Gonzales family and a cherished princess of the Richards family. But compared to Ann, even Caitlin seemed to be falling short.
“Ann,” Leonore sighed, “you just keep surprising me, one shock after another.”
Ann took Leonore’s hand. “But Leonore, Daniel’s confession is a secret. And I haven’t decided if I’m going to accept him yet. For his sake, please don’t tell anyone else.”
