Seeing Yvonne, Xander’s gaze turned somber. “Why are you here?” “Shawn said you were getting beaten up. I was worried about you.” Xander froze for a second, then broke into a sickeningly sweet grin.

As for Dan…

His already battered face darkened with sheer rage.

“Are these people out of their minds? Can’t anyone tell who is beating who?!”

He was livid.

He was the one who got pummeled to a pulp!

Yet Yvonne rushed over because she was worried about Xander.

Dan glared at Yvonne. “You know exactly what he’s like! And you actually worried I’d hurt him?”

Yvonne didn’t respond, merely giving Dan a passing glance.

That single look made Dan want to explode.

“Get over here!” he gritted out.

Those three words made Xander’s eyes flash dangerously.

“Alright, let’s just go,” Yvonne said quickly.

“Did you already forget the pain? You’re driving me crazy!”

Furious, Xander turned on his heel and stormed off, not giving Yvonne a chance to finish her sentence.

The normally arrogant and prideful man was now throwing a full-blown tantrum.

Yvonne was left stunned.

What was his problem…

Dan was equally enraged. “Look what he did to me! You need to compensate me for this!”

He was pissed.

First, he had been beaten by Yvonne, and today he was beaten by Xander.

Yvonne was at a loss for words.

Shawn stepped up behind her. Seeing, Dan demand compensation, he quickly interjected, “Hey Yvonne Xander is really mad and hard to calm down. You better go after him.”

Yvonne’s eye twitched. “Me? Chase him?”

“Of course you should chase him! Hurry up! You made him mad, you fix it.”

Shawn fired off the excuses without giving her time to process.

But his logic did make a twisted sort of sense. “Right. I made him mad, so I should go fix it.”

“Wait a minute?” Dan snapped. “A grown man is throwing a tantrum and needs a woman to coax him?”

Hearing that Yvonne was actually going to comfort Xander pushed Dan over the edge. He wasn’t having it.

Yvonne was silent.

“That’s her husband. She should comfort him,” Shawn shot back.

Dan was speechless.

The words ‘her husband’ nearly made Dan’s veins pop with rage.

Yvonne thought about it for a second. “Right. He’s my husband. I have to comfort him.”

Xander’s jealousy had been off the charts lately. He was even getting jealous over Stella.

With Dan pulling this stunt tonight, if she didn’t smooth things over, Xander would likely cause an even bigger scene later.

Dan watched her leave, entirely speechless.
