I was trying to muster up the courage to go see her . My anxiety levels were so high I was shaking . Blake opened the apartment door and moved all the bags inside before coming and standing next to me .
“ Fuck it ! ” I blurted and walked over to knock on Taylor’s door .
I was so nervous . What was she going to say ?!
Two minutes later , Rocky opened the door .
“ Hey ! You two are back . I see you are in one piece . How was your trip? ” He asked with a big smile on his face .
I heard footsteps behind him , and Taylor came running out of her room in her overalls . She was holding her paint tray .
“ You’re back bitch !!!!!! Yay !! ” She screamed and ran toward me .
“ It’s been a long two days ! I’m so glad you’re back . It’s been so bor …….. ” before she could finish her sentence , I put my left hand up , silencing Taylor
Both Taylor and Rocky’s jaws dropped . Taylor looked up at my face and then back to my hand . Her eyes were the size of saucers .
“ What the hell is that ?! ” Rocky finally said . He blinked a few times , looking at my hand . Then , I could see realization hit him like a brick wall . He looked over my shoulder towards Blake . “ Oh my god ?! ”
Taylor looked up at Rocky and followed his gaze . Her eyes widened even more once she , too , figured it out .
“ No ! NO ! You can not be serious , Rosy ! ” she shrieked and grabbed my hand , pulling it closer to her so she could see better .
I chuckled nervously and turned to look at Blake , He walked over to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder .
“ Oh , on the contrary , she’s very serious , Taylor , ” he smiled at me .
“ Blake asked me to marry him , and I said yes , ” I said carefully , keeping my eyes on my two dearest friends .
They both looked at each other and then at the beautiful diamond ring on my finger . It was the most expensive piece of jew . owned now . A big square diamond sat in the middle , with two small oval diamonds on each side .
Since he put the ring on my finger , my hands felt like they weighed a ton . Blake’s proposal in front of his parents was awkward but very sweet . At that moment , I couldn’t see any reason to say no . Blake had grown on me , and in the last two days , so had his family .
