“I am Specter,” Juniper replied in a low, patient voice, her hands stuffed in her pockets.
“You’re Specter? Then I’m Specter’s father!” the man retorted, jutting his chin out, oblivious to the danger he was in.
At his words, Juniper slowly lifted her gaze, her long lashes shadowing eyes that had turned bloodred. The next second, she pulled her hands from her pockets. With a few swift movements, she disarmed the two grunts in front of her, dismantling their guns completely. Parts clattered onto the deck with a harsh, metallic sound.

With two solid kicks, Juniper sent both men flying into the sea.

As the two flailed in the water, screaming for help, the other men on board finally snapped out of their shock.

first,” Shanley ordered, picking up his

After ending the call, Shanley immediately returned to his seat and opened his laptop to check the hotel’s security footage.
“Boss, Specter has been taken to the other room,” Felton reported respectfully. “Should you go see Subterra Vanguard’s second-in-command p>
“No need.” Shanley’s expression was grim as he worked on the computer. “Have Flint watch her. Don’t let her escape p>
Their second-in-command? Just as cunning as Specter, he’s sure.
In a small, cramped room, Luella was tied up and thrown on the floor, her face bruised from her fight with Flint and Felton.
“If you’re going to kill me, just do it. Cut the damn crap.” Luella’s face was disguised, but her striking white hair was unmistakable.
