Even on camera, they still had to act like good brothers and besties.
Levi and Boston didn’t care about the occasion at all.

Levi’s smile didn’t falter.
It was as if he had been born that easygoing, without a temper.

“Mr. Warren was right. Acting skills need to be practiced all the time.
Levi’s expression barely changed.
“Yeah. Being able to stay calm in front of someone I absolutely hate … that’s something I couldn’t do before.”
Kaleb laughed out loud.
Then, quickly switched the subject/
“Look, Boston’s over there with that rising starlet, Darlene.”
Darlene was complicated.
Some said she was some big shot’s daughter, which was why her career had gone so smoothly.

She had more advantages than anyone.
If she had just acted cute and gotten along with Alice, she could’ve had it easy.
But instead, she insisted on taking the hard road–the winding, uphill, nearly impossible road.
Levi took a deep breath, forcing his expression back to normal.
“Let’s go meet Risa first.”
“Alright.”
Sandy and Yvette were basically at the top of the women’s circle.
So the moment they arrived, a crowd of small–time starlets immediately surrounded them.
