Before Daniel could say anything, Zachary rushed over.
“Ms. Spencer, thank goodness you’re still here.”
Boston, still sitting in the car, suddenly froze.
He’d known Zachary for years.
He actually knew him pretty well.
Zachary was the type who prided himself on being different from those around him.
He had always been a lone wolf, and he rarely admired anyone.
He reserved his respect only for hackers who were better than him. No exceptions.

Zachary had already pulled out a notebook.
“Erm, could I get your autograph?”
Alice wasn’t exactly in the mood to respond.
“If you don’t want to reveal your identity, then encrypt it with an algorithm. Ii we’re meant to know each other. If I can’t, then I’ll let it go.”
Hearing that, Alice didn’t argue further.
She took the notebook and wrote a piece of encrypted code on it.

Zachary was over the moon.
After carefully tucking the notebook away, he finally noticed Boston.
“Mr. Boston, you can forget all the conditions we discussed earlier.
“I didn’t do anything to help this time, but I still got her autograph. That’s more than enough for me.
“Consider this a favor owed. If you ever need help in the future, just say the word. I won’t hesitate.”
Even the assistant looked stunned
He stared at Zachary in disbelief.
“What on earth did she give you to make you offer her a favor?”
Zachary was a tech geek who had no patience for flattery or power games.

There was no way someone so out of touch with social games would go around making shady deals with Alice, let alone suck up to her just to please Eric.
Despite knowing all this, the assistant still couldn’t help asking Zachary the question.
Zachary gave him a look like he was an idiot.
“Why would I need to take anything from her?”
In fact, he’d gladly hand over everything he had to Alice–just to learn how she had taken that virus apart .
The assistant was speechless.
Zachary ignored him and turned back to Alice.
“Ms. Spencer, if I manage to crack your codename, can I reach out to you?”
Alice nodded.
“If you solve it, my contact info is embedded in the algorithm.”
Zachary was instantly fired up.
“Ms. Spencer, don’t worry! I’ll figure it out. I swear I will!”
Alice scratched at her ear.
“Treat it like a puzzle for fun.”
“You got it.”
Zachary was already mentally preparing to go without food or sleep.
Alice was speechless.
The assistant and Boston exchanged a glance.
This definitely wasn’t staged.
Boston immediately got out of the car.
“Zachary, what the hell is going on?”
Zachary frowned, clearly annoyed by his tone.
Still, since he had agreed to come, he figured he owed Boston a proper explanation.
“By the time I got here, Ms. Spencer was already dismantling the virus.

“Do you have any idea how important Risa’s role is?
“This could be the turning point for your entire career!”
But Boston still said nothing. He just kept looking toward the entrance.
The earlier commotion at the event had already drawn a crowd.
Even Byron and Risa had shown up.
Now that things were over, the two of them were walking out together, chatting like they were old friends.
“I don’t necessarily need Alice’s help.”
He could always work through Byron–instead.
The assistant frowned and turned to look toward the entrance.
