Chapter 751
The rest of the shoot went smoothly, with no more antics from the production team.
On the last day, Yvonne forwarded the flight information her assistant had booked to Bennett.
Bennett was always busy with work, and his assignments occasionally took him out of Istra.
After sending the message, Yvonne never received a reply, so she had no idea if he would be at the airport to meet her.
“Yvonne, the luggage is packed. Let’s eat at the restaurant downstairs first, then head to the airport,” her assistant said, placing the suitcases by the door.
Yvonne nodded and followed her assistant out of the hotel room to the restaurant downstairs.
Most of the show’s cast and crew were staying at the same hotel, though the guests were in business suites while the staff had standard rooms. It wasn’t uncommon to run into each other at meals.
As Yvonne and her assistant entered the restaurant, they unexpectedly ran into Thomas and his entourage again.
Thomas was also a guest star on the show, and after this episode, he would be leaving the set.
Yvonne had arrived a bit late, and the restaurant was already full. Just as she was debating whether to wait for a table or leave, Thomas waved her over.
“If you don’t mind, you can join us p>
“I Yvonne instinctively started to refuse.
But Thomas cut her off. “There aren’t any other restaurants nearby. If we drive somewhere further, you might miss your flight p>
“Yvonne, we’d just be sharing a table. We should eat before we go; the airplane food is awful,” her assistant whispered from behind her.
Yvonne hesitated for a moment before nodding.
It was just sharing a table for a meal. If she kept refusing, it would seem like she had something to hide.
“Then we won’t impose for long, Mr. Taylor,” Yvonne replied with a smile.
Yvonne and her assistant sat down at Thomas’s table.
Her assistant ordered for her, sticking to a diet-friendly meal of a vegetable salad and shrimp, along. with a local specialty that Yvonne could only have a small taste of.
“Starting a new project soon?” Thomas asked, glancing at Yvonne’s menu.
“Not yet, I haven’t found the right
script. But I’ve been eating too well lately and gained a few pounds. agent is already giving me the
side-eye and has me on a
mandatory diet, Yvonne said

Whenever she went back to Cherry Bay, Helen always managed to fatten her up.
Thomas’s meal wasn’t as strict as Yvonne’s, but it was also carb-free. In their line of work, you had to be meticulous about your figure if you wanted to stay in the game
“Which flight are you on? Straight to Istra?” Thomas asked as he ate.
“Yes,” Yvonne nodded, giving him the flight number.
“What a coincidence, we’re on the same flight,” Thomas said.
Yvonne replied, “Aren’t you in the middle of filming Director Reed’s martial arts movie? You’re not heading back to the set p>
Thomas explained, “I signed an endorsement deal and have to go back to Istra for a promotional event p>
Yvonne nodded after hearing his explanation and didn’t press further.
After lunch, Yvonne and Thomas’s group left the restaurant together.
Two black vans were parked side-by-side at the entrance. Yvonne and her assistant
got into the first one, while Thomas and his team took the second.
The vehicles started up one after the other, heading toward the airport.
Upon arrival, their respective assistants went to handle the check-in process.
Yvonne and Thomas walked into the VIP lounge, one after the other, to wait for boarding.
What Yvonne didn’t expect was to see Bennett the moment she stepped inside.
