Chapter 867

The scene shifted.
“What do you want to eat?” Jasper asked.
“Anything’s fine,” Jiana replied.
“What do you want to drink?”
“Anything’s fine.”
“You—”
Jiana yawned and leaned back lazily on the sofa, hugging a pillow. Lost in her own world, she slowly drew out her words. “Anything’s~ fiiiine~.”
The live comments flooded with another wave of laughter.
`Sleep is the most important thing in the world.`
Jiana is so chill. I love her.
The third pair to appear was Yates and Yolanda. Yates was in the bathroom with the door closed; only the sound of running water could be heard. The camera then panned to Yolanda, who had supposedly just woken up. She performed a delicate stretch in bed and rubbed her neck cutely. Then, she brushed aside her artfully messy hair to reveal a flawless, fair face.
The makeup artist was a pro. At first glance, it really did look like she wasn’t wearing any makeup. It might fool the average viewer, but anyone in the know could see it was a carefully constructed “no-makeup” look.
`Seriously? This woman is clearly wearing a full face of makeup and is pretending she just woke up. Who is she trying to fool?“
`Does she think we’re all idiots?`
`Damn it, my favorite comfort show is being ruined by Yolanda.`
`She was constantly picking on Brant and Sabine in the last episodes. Now that
they’re not here, I wonder what kind of drama she’ll stir up.`
`Doesn’t ‘Hey, Sis!’ do background checks? Or is this all for the edit?`
What editing? This is practically live; we’re only seeing this half an hour after it was filmed.`
`Correct me if I’m wrong, but hasn’t Yolanda caused a ton of trouble before?`
`It’s not ‘if you’re wrong,’ it’s a fact. She always tries to mess with my dream girl, and always ends up getting put in her place.`
`Just asking, who’s your dream girl?`
`Jimmie’s sister, Juniper, of course! I pray every day for her to debut as an idol.`
Finally, Yolanda’s segment was over. The camera swept over a sun-drenched scene before slowly settling on a silent, still room. Every viewer stared at the screen, their hearts in their throats. They were about to see just who this super-secret guest was. The show had better not be all hype.
Slowly, the camera pushed in. In a clean, bright kitchen, a man in casual
loungewear was frying an egg.
`[Perfect height, perfect build.]`
[Wait, that back looks so familiar.]`
`O[h my god, is that my husband who I haven’t married yet?]`
The camera moved in closer, finally revealing the man’s profile.
[JIMMIE, IT’S REALLY JIMMIE, AHHHHH…]`
[AHHHHHHHH]`
`[AHHHHHHHH]`
[AHHHHHHHH]`
The screen was completely obscured by a cacophony of high pitched squeals. The staff managing the live comments were typing so fast their hands were a blur.
`[Who did Jimmie bring? Is it Juniper?]`
IMS
`[Juniper is gorgeous and super smart, I really want to see her!]`
`[Am I the only one who remembers that Juniper and Yolanda have bad blood?]`
`[This episode is going to be fun. Fight! Fight! Fight!]`
`[Where’s Juniper? Why is the camera panning around everywhere?]`
Amidst the viewers’ confusion, Juniper Crawled up from the floor She was in silk pajamas, her hair a bird’s nest, squinting as she searched för her phone.
Live comments:

`[??]“ `[???]`
`[Hahaha, everyone else makes a beautiful entrance, but Juniper shows up looking like this?]`
`[So relaxed, so casual, with zero concern for her image. I see myself in Juniper.]`
`[I bet she’s just like Yolanda, trying to create a ‘just woke up’ persona.]`
Some viewers were skeptical, suspecting that once she pushed her hair back, her face would be perfectly made up.
The next second, Juniper grabbed a small hair tie and casually pulled her hair back. The ever-obliging camera immediately zoomed in for a crystal clear close-up Seeing her face, the audience collectively held its breath.
