Chapter 158
Jiang Yexun’s icy eyes suddenly chilled, and deep-seated murderous intent surged in an instant. The group of men suddenly felt a cold shiver down their spines, and their lecherous smiles froze on their faces.
But as they looked at the man before them, who appeared quite unapproachable, and with a young girl who was slowing him down, their wicked thoughts resurfaced.
“If you disagree, let the young lady choose. Who knows, maybe she wants to play with us,” the leader of the group said with increasingly malicious intent.
“Pah! You scoundrels think you can have a chance with me? Brother Yexun, beat them up!” Su Xiaoxiao lifted her chin, taunting the four men.
Even Jiang Yexun was surprised by how fierce she could be.
The men hesitated briefly, then cursed and drew their daggers, rushing towards Jiang Yexun and Su Xiaoxiao.
Jiang Yexun was tall and he easily kicked the leader to the ground with his pair of long legs.
The other three brandished their knives and moved in unison to attack him.
However, they didn’t expect that Su Xiaoxiao, who had been hiding behind Jiang Yexun, would suddenly spring out from behind him. Before anyone could react, she swung the coal ball tongs in her hands viciously at the man who had just begun to get up.
The sound of the heavy tongs striking his skull, combined with the man’s screams of pain, shocked them all and left their hearts trembling.
Before anyone could react, Su Xiaoxiao swung the iron tongs at the man’s head again. This time, he could only utter a muffled groan before falling to the ground, motionless.
The other three were left stunned, their pupils dilated, and then they each raised their knives and charged at Su Xiaoxiao.
“Crap! We’re going to kill you today!” Jiang Yexun grabbed one of the men, threw him heavily to the ground, and was about to grab another. However, Su Xiaoxiao, with the iron tongs, swung at the hand of the man wielding the knife.
The knife fell to the ground, and he struggled forward, intending to reach Su Xiaoxiao. But suddenly, a sharp pain in the back of his neck and between his legs rendered him unconscious within seconds.
He clutched his injury, rolling on the ground in pain. Su Xiaoxiao, with a swift kick, pushed his legs away and began to hit his hand with the tongs.
He winced in pain and tried to attack again, only to be knocked back by another vicious strike. The blows continued, and he couldn’t even scream in pain anymore.
“You wanted me to entertain you, right? Do you like this kind of play?” Su Xiaoxiao’s voice remained soft and sweet, but her eyes held a sinister, mocking look that sent shivers down their spines.
The two men whom Jiang Yexun had knocked to the ground suddenly felt a glimmer of relief; they had escaped a great calamity. They scrambled to their feet, desperately attempting to run away.
Jiang Yexun immediately caught up with them and, aiming at their lower backs, kicked them down to the ground again.
Su Xiaoxiao approached with the coal tongs in her hand, and the two men trembled in fear, their legs trembling.
“We’re sorry! We know we were wrong! We really understand now.”
A strong smell of urine suddenly permeated the air, and both of their pants were soaked. There was even a small puddle of pale yellow liquid on the ground.
“Ugh!” Su Xiaoxiao wrinkled her nose in disgust.
Then, she looked up at Jiang Yexun, her eyes filled with anticipation.
“Alright, I’ll take care of it,” Jiang Yexun said, a faint smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.
Su Xiaoxiao hurriedly interjected, “You better not get yourself all dirty; these guys are really disgusting.”
“We’re sorry! We really won’t come back!” The two men knew they couldn’t escape and started begging desperately.
Knowing full well that they had targeted Su Xiaoxiao earlier, they realized Jiang Yexun would never spare them.
Jiang Yexun approached the two men, grabbed one of them by the hair, and dragged them away from the urine puddles. They instinctively tried to attack Jiang Yexun, but then they saw Su Xiaoxiao raising the coal tongs high, her determination to see their leader dead clear in her unflinching gaze. This immediately stopped them in their tracks.
Jiang Yexun proceeded to drag them to a cleaner spot and prepared to deliver a kick towards their legs.
“We know we were wrong! We have money! We’ll compensate you! Five thousand… No, no, ten thousand. We’ll give each of you ten thousand,” the men pleaded, clutching Jiang Yexun’s feet.
“But I don’t want your money!” Su Xiaoxiao rejected outright. It was laughable to think she needed this small amount of money.
“Then, why don’t you go to the police? How can you resort to vigilante justice?” Their words had barely left their mouths when Jiang Yexun stepped on one of them.
The man being stepped on couldn’t even muster a scream; he just groaned and passed out. He immediately withdrew his foot and prepared to step on another one. However, the other man tried to escape, using both his hands and legs, but Jiang Yexun kicked him from behind, causing him to howl in pain and roll on the ground.
Satisfied with their incapacitated state, Su Xiaoxiao looked around and found a narrow dead-end alley piled with junk.
“Yexun, drag them all over there.”
“Alright,” Jiang Yexun responded, walking back to pull the two men who had initially fainted.
Su Xiaoxiao dragged the other two, who were already unconscious.
Jiang Yexun was about to say that he should find some water to revive them when Su Xiaoxiao extended her foot, placing it between the legs of the leader who had just regained consciousness.
The man, still groaning from the pain, was now awake. Jiang Yexun frowned, carefully examining the foot that was no bigger than his palm. He knew he had to give Su Xiaoxiao a thorough cleaning when they got back. She really didn’t care about cleanliness; she stepped on everything dirty.
The leader observed the surroundings and his companions before trembling with fear.
“W-what are you going to do? This is a society governed by the rule of law. You don’t want to kill us, do you?”
“We’re merely practicing normal self-defense and resistance in the face of danger. Besides, do you dare to report this to the police? Dare to let them conduct a thorough investigation? Offenses like hooliganism often involve facing the bullet. Judging by how skilled you all were, you’ve probably committed such crimes multiple times. You should be grateful that we’re being merciful, just confiscating your tools and not sending you off to face the consequences,” Su Xiaoxiao blinked her bright, innocent-looking eyes. Her words were anything but innocent.
In fact, if they hadn’t had two large bags of gold coins stashed under their bed right now, they would have already reported to the police.
“You’re not going to report us so that we spill the beans, buy us off, and eliminate the person who wants you dead, are you?” The man clenched his teeth in pain, asking.
“No need. We know who we’ve offended, and we’re fully aware of it. But did the person who sent you not tell you how difficult we are to deal with? Don’t forget, you can’t even harm us with just four people. Even if there were eight or twelve of you, you wouldn’t stand a chance against us,” Su Xiaoxiao asked with a feigned curiosity.
Then, she saw the man’s face, which was already twisted in pain, contort further with intense malice.
