Jiang Yexun gently stroked the fluffy back of Su Xiaoxiao’s head, his large palm finally coming to rest in the soft nape of her neck.
The delicate touch made it hard for him to resist his wandering thoughts.
Su Xiaoxiao, however, didn’t notice his subtle changes and still blinked her big, watery eyes, asking with anticipation and excitement, “Did you do something?”
“It wasn’t done to him, but he jumped in willingly, so I just included him in the plan,” Jiang Yexun said, his heart melting at the sight of his little wife.
He lowered his head, inching closer to the young girl in his arms who was still frowning in thought, trying to figure out what he had done.
With their noses touching, he nuzzled against her small, upright nose, lingering and tender.
“On a night like this, why should we think about those unpleasant people?” Jiang Yexun’s voice grew husky and deep, with a hint of urgent desire.
Su Xiaoxiao then realized where his thoughts had wandered and a faint blush spread across her porcelain-like face.
“Weren’t we discussing serious matters? What are you thinking about now!” She lightly tapped on Jiang Yexun’s chest.
Jiang Yexun, however, caught her fingertips and brought them to his lips, gently biting down.
“Ah!” Su Xiaoxiao winced and softly gasped in pain, trying to pull her hand back, but he held it tighter.
Jiang Yexun pecked her fingertips one by one, his voice seductive, “We have to wait another two days for them to make a move. Why waste our time on them while they’re still struggling?”
Su Xiaoxiao was trapped against his broad, scorching chest, the hot breath in her ear almost melting her.
She felt her head buzzing, unable to think of anything.
Seeing this, Jiang Yexun lowered his head and gently sucked on her red lips.
Feeling the response from the girl in his arms, he immediately deepened the kiss, full of temptation.

Jiang Yexun suddenly rolled over, placing her on the pillow.
