The two of them frolicked behind the big tree for quite a while before finally holding hands and heading to the supply and marketing cooperative together.

On the other end, Grandpa Zhang’s voice sounded cheerful, “I knew you wouldn’t forget to call us. We’ve been waiting here after dinner.”
“Brother Yexun and I just returned from the city. Are you both doing well recently? It’s getting colder, remember to wear more clothes and don’t catch a cold,” Su Xiaoxiao asked with concern.
“We’ve been taking care of ourselves. Both Grandma Wang and I are fine, especially me, I’m in great shape now, eating and sleeping without any problems,” Grandpa Zhang replied cheerfully.

Aunt Guo smiled happily, then glanced at her son standing there like a block of wood, disdainfully rolling her eyes before turning back to her room.

“You go back to the room first. I’ll go fetch the water for you,” Jiang Yexun suggested, wanting Su Xiaoxiao to head back to their room.
