Chapter 83
“Delphine, you’re too much. Did you see Isla’s face? She was completely defenseless,” Sia said, sipping her cocktail with a satisfied smile.
Mia chuckled softly. “You are a genius. And thank you. I was so grateful that you put that leech in her place. Did you see her face? I’ll never forget that look p>
וד
Delphine tilted her head, her lips curling into a sing smile. “That was just the beginning. Did she think she could take away what rightfully belongs to me and I’ll just sit here and do nothing? She better be prepared for what’s coming for her,” she promised.
“Can you believe that even my husband likes her now? I almost lost my cool earlier. She spoke to Landon like they were old friends. I hated every second of it,” Mia said, taking a sip of her drink before continuing.
“She didn’t even pay attention to me. No, all she did was talk to my husband. But when Delphine accused her, I couldn’t hide my gratitude. You did more than I ever could, Delphine. Well done and cheers to this little win of ours.
Mia raised her glass, and Sia and Delphine followed, their glasses clinking softly as they continued to celebrate their small victory.
There was no doubt that these three women hated Isla–and they would do anything to get rid of her. Each of them had their own reasons, and all believed that Isla had taken away something that belonged to them.
For Sia, it was the attention and favoritism Isla was getting from Alfred Wyndham, who had showered her with gifts and affection.
The same went for Mia. Her hatred was deeply influenced by Anna, their mother–in–law, who despised Isla with an almost frightening passion and would do anything in her power to see her gone.
Mia was educated and focused. She loved luxury and extravagant living, but she was also smart and understood business. She knew how to survive among the elite.
Sia, however, was spoiled. All she ever wanted was to spend money. Work was something she detested, and she had no ambitions of her own. All she cared about was spending and more spending.
As for Delphine, she had been obsessed with Gabriel since childhood. She had claimed him as hers from the very beginning. Despite the fact that she once cheated on him, she still believed that only she deserved him, and no other woman did.
With Anna’s strong support, Delphine felt confident that Gabriel would eventually divorce his wife and marry her instead. That belief was what kept her going
The three women sat together in the VIP section of Tasha’s Garden, a high–end, open –roof bar where the city’s elite came to socialize. Their faces glowed under the soft garden lights, their laughter blending with the gentle music drifting through the night air.
They looked radiant–almost victorious–as if they had just won a golden trophy. That little moment of triumph meant everything to them.

“This is the perfect time to kick that leech out of the Wyndham family,” Sla said sharply. “No grandfather on her side anymore–that old man is too weak now. What can he even do? It’s time for Mother to get up from her bed rest and finally kick that leech out once and for all p>
Her tone was filled with venom, leaving no doubt about how much she despised Isla. The three women burst into laughter, their voices rising over the music.
But suddenly, Sia’s laughter stopped. Her smile faded, and her expression froze as her gaze locked on something, or someone, across the garden. Follow current novᴇls on ~net
Mia and Delphine noticed immediately. “What’s wrong?” Mia asked, following Sia’s line of sight.
Then they saw the unbelievable.
Gasps escaped their lips as shock swept across their faces.
At a far corner of the garden sat Wyatt, Sia’s husband, with a beautiful ginger–haired woman beside him. The woman was leaning close, her hand resting on his arm, their posture far too intimate to be innocent.
Sia’s heart sank. “ This is not happening,” she muttered under her breath, her voice trembling.
The smile on her face vanished. Her body trembling and her eyes glittering with unshed tears.
