Chapter 1047

His skills might not compare to Miss Seven’s, but he was certainly highly capable. If Sheryl put in the hard work under him, placing well wouldn’t be an issue. However, without Miss Seven, making it to the very top would be nearly impossible.
“What?” Whatever the person on the other end of the line said, Michelle’s expression instantly froze.
“What’s wrong?” Sheryl asked anxiously. “Did he say yes?”
“I understand.” Michelle gripped her phone tightly, ending the call. Her face went completely pale as she spoke. “Miss Seven just donated three hundred million to the Tennis Association. Her one condition was that no coach is allowed to train you.” “How much?!” Sheryl exclaimed wildly. “It’s just money! My family has money too!”
“Three hundred million.” Michelle repeated the staggering astronomical figure with deadpan clarity.
“Three…” Sheryl was so panicked she almost bit her own tongue. No matter how wealthy her family was, they couldn’t just casually throw around hundreds of millions.
“There’s more,” Michelle pressed her lips together, adding grimly, “They also said she sent the Association the video from your sports meet, along with all the evidence of your sabotage. If you try to enter any competition, she’ll have the Schwartz Group’s elite legal team sue the Association.”
Athletes with poor moral conduct faced severe public backlash. The Tennis Association couldn’t possibly justify that to the public. Juniper was sending them a very clear message: she had the entire Schwartz Group backing her. They had absolutely no reason to fear the Yardley family. Furthermore, it wasn’t like Sheryl was some kind of generational tennis prodigy. Her mentor was a known traitor, and taking on the student would only bring nothing but trouble.
“The Association stated they will no longer accept any competition applications from you.”
If she couldn’t compete
domestically, she naturally wouldn’t
be able to enter international tournaments either. This chess piece was completely and utterly destroyed. But that wasn’t all The vige
estent had also informed her that all of Michelle’s upcoming events had been entirely canceled. Juniper would personally cover the penalty fees for the breach of
contract.
Michelle clenched her fists, finally understanding the full picture. Miss Seven hadn’t just ‘expelled’ her; she was completely destroying her careerShe really knew how to hold a grudge. A truly terrifying girt with an unforgettable personality.
“Then what are we supposed to do?!” Sheryl was pacing frantically like an ant on a hot pan.
“What do you think?” Michelle gave her a dark, furious glare. “If you hadn’t provoked Miss Seven, things would never have reached this point. Sheryl, you’re on your own from now on.”
Dropping that final sentence, Michelle grabbed her designer bag and stormed out in her high heels.
Barnaby and Sheryl stood rooted to the spot, completely dumbfounded.
“Ahem.” Lionel finally stood up, clearing his throat as he delivered the final, devastating blow. “Mr. Yardley, you mentioned earlier that you wanted to call Juniper’s parents. Do you still need me to do that?”
Barnaby was entirely speechless. He had just been running his mouth in a fit of rage earlier. If they actually
called her parents’ and Shanley net
showed up across the table, the man’s gaze alone would be enough to kill him.
“Hmph.” Barnaby grabbed his daughter’s arm, trying to comfort her as they walked out. “Sheryl, just endure this a little longer. Once our plan succeeds, you can do whatever you want with Juniper.”
“Dad, speed up the plan.” Sheryl ground her teeth, spitting out every word with venom. “I can’t wait to crush Juniper beneath my heel.”
