Pushing the door open to see her like this, it took Harold a long time to regain his

senses.

The last time he had seen her dressed up so beautifully was on their wedding day. “Does it not look good?”

He looked much younger and incredibly handsome.

Used to seeing him strictly in a doctor’s coat, this was the first time Lorelei had ever

seen Harold dressed so… vibrantly?!

Elustered, she quickly averted her eyes and muttered softly, “Are we

really not bringing any gifts?”

Harold picked her up securely. As they passed the living room, he casually grabbed Lorelei’s bag.

Lorelei pursed her lips, thinking for a moment before saying, “Then I’ll custom-make

a bespoke silk dress or a jacket for everyone later.”

Harold’s jaw tightened. He shot her a look, remaining silent.

They had been married for three years, and she hadn’t ever thought of making a single piece for him.

Seeing Harold go quiet, Lorelei felt a wave of uncertainty and pressed, “Is that not okay?”

Harold gently placed her in the passenger seat and thoughtfully buckled her seatbelt However, instead of pulling away immediately, he stared at her intently. “If you’re making them clothes, I want one too.”
