Chapter 1600
[ 684 words ]
“Boss, where did you say you wanted to go?”
Flint hesitated for a few seconds before his curiosity overpowered his self- preservation. He gathered his courage and asked, “A u-urologist?”
“Is there a problem?”
Shanley crossed his long legs, fixing him with a lazy stare.
Flint held his breath.
A problem?
This was a huge freaking problem.
If they went to a urology clinic, how could they possibly keep the boss’s ‘performance issues’ a secret?
Wait.
Ms. Payne was an elite medical professional. Couldn’t she just treat him?
*Thump—*
Seeing Flint’s eyes darting around wildly, Shanley knew exactly what kind of garbage he was thinking.
Shanley kicked the back of the seat, his voice dropping to a freezing register. “What kind of nonsense is going through your head? I need to consult them about a vasectomy!”
“A v-vasectomy?” Flint was practically scared out of his wits.
That was still a massive deal!
Did the Schwartz family know?
Did Ms. Payne agree to this?
“Yes, sir.”
Flint didn’t dare ask any more questions. He immediately contacted the most authoritative urology expert in the country.
*Sigh.*
Mr. Schwartz really loved Ms. Payne. He was willing to give up having children entirely just so she wouldn’t have to endure the risks of childbirth.
Soon enough.
Flint completed the task Shanley had given him. The booked specialist was returning to the country in a week.
They could do the surgery right away.
This type of procedure was relatively minimally invasive for men and wouldn’t significantly impact his daily life.
With just a couple of days of rest, he’d be fully recovered.
However―
To protect Shanley’s reputation, they hadn’t disclosed the patient’s name to the doctor just yet.
They simply mentioned that the compensation would be extremely generous.
“In a week?” Shanley mentally calculated the timeline. By the time the surgery was done…
He’d only have about two or three days before Juniper came back.
That worked.
As long as he was recovered by then.
“Boss, have you really thought this through?” Flint asked, unusually serious. “His grandmother and the rest of the elders probably won’t agree.”
He was the CEO of the Schwartz Group, the eldest grandson of the Schwartz family.
A male heir was incredibly important.
“I’m not the only male in the
Schwartz family.” Shanley curled his
thin lips into a nonchalant smirk
“Isn’t there still Kurt if he wants
kids, he can have as many as he wants.”

If Kurt had too many and didn’t want to raise them, he and Juniper could always help out.
“What about Ms. Payne?” Flint pursed his lips, pressing the issue quietly. “Does she agree with this?”
“She’s never had much interest in kids.” Shanley thought back to her answer “She said she could take
them or thềm leave them in that case, we
won’t have them.” fo FindNovel.net
Flint wanted to say more but didn’t know how.
It looked like the boss had completely made up his mind.
In Froskia.
After finishing up the training session with her upperclassmen, Juniper rubbed her
sore neck and went back to her bedroom.
Just as she was about to lie down.
She received a call from an unknown number.
Juniper had a pretty good memory. Although she couldn’t match a name to it, the sequence of numbers looked vaguely familiar.
“Hello.”
She answered, speaking in a flat tone. “Who’s this?”
“You really can’t recognize my voice?” The man on the other end sounded amused.
“?”
Juniper racked her brain but came up empty.
“You seriously don’t remember me?” The man’s voice pitched up. “It’s not like we didn’t know each other as kids you played at your house, and I played at mine content
Juniper remained silent for a few seconds before spitting out three words:
-You’re a psycho.
She was just about to hang up when the caller panicked. “It’s me, Dr. Holt!”
Dr. Holt?
“Five years ago, we ran into each other at the scene of a car crash.”
The man explained earnestly, “We had a disagreement over the treatment method, and in the end…”
“Oh.”
It finally clicked. Juniper raised an eyebrow. “I couldn’t stand your constant yapping,
so I kicked you in the ass, and you went flying.”
“You didn’t really need to add that last part,” the man muttered, his lips twitching.
Juniper frowned. “What do you want?”
“Well,” the man drawled out deliberately. “I recently took on a patient who has a bit of an issue, and I wanted to consult you about it.”
