The surrounding villagers began to whisper amongst themselves. They were worried, but not for Jiang Guoli. They were afraid that this incident would make them fail on the advanced production team selection.

Prefect Wang shook his head, “No, after all, there are two good comrades who rescued so many women and children who were abducted.”

Jiang Guoli was unable to breathe properly, panting heavily. After a few deep breaths, he said, “I’ll give you two options: come back immediately or we’ll get divorced.”

“What are you thinking? Who would split the family by only accepting his mother and abandoning his father?” Jiang Guoli argued sharply.
“Then why don’t you split up your two sons, and you can come with us. The question is, do you dare?” Su Xiaoxiao’s words sounded sweet, but they sent a chilling undertone.
“You always bring their issues up all the time. How do I know that if I agree to this separation, you won’t bring it up again later?!” he countered, desperate.
“It’s simple. You sign an agreement to split the family, and we sign a release. The release notes that you agree to let Aunt Guo live with us and will never actively seek a divorce. If Aunt Guo requests a divorce, you will immediately agree.
