Chapter : 923

Judy’s POV

“That’s me?” Irene asked, stepping closer to the glowing green images.

Her eyes were wide with wonder as she stared at her green self. She was seated on the couch, tucked under the green image of Chuck, who was smiling down at her. Their eyes were locked. A green smoky haze was pouring from his eyes and into hers, and she was leaning further into him.

“Yes,” Esme answered, breaking through the silence that consumed us.

I stepped closer as well, my eyes fixed on the images in front of us, and as if they could tell that I was there, they both turned to look at me. My breathing hitched, and I felt my body tingling with the magic that surrounded me. Then, in unison, both images rose.

Irene took a step back, worried about what was going to happen, but I wasn’t afraid. I knew exactly what was going to happen. With easy steps, I walked towards them, keeping my head held high. I knew exactly what I needed to do; this was magic that was standing in front of me, and I was the host.

The words of the Moon Goddess surfaced in my mind: she told me to put faith in myself and my magic; my magic told me to trust it. That’s exactly what I was planning on doing.

I reached my hand out once I was only inches from the magic, and they both reached theirs out as well, mimicking my movements. And then we clasped hands; the glow was so bright I had to squint to see appropriately. It was radiating both the green light of the curse and my white glow, mixing into something entirely different.

Suddenly, the green faded away, replaced by a soft white glow around each of them. I could see the outlines of smiles on their faces, and then they released their hold on my hand. I stepped back, allowing them space to move freely.

These two magical entities… essence of the curse… had been trapped here the entire time, and now I was setting them free.

They both stepped around me; silence took over the room as everyone watched in awe, even Irene was stunned silent, watching herself move towards Chuck, who was growing restless and aggravated, but couldn’t move.

“What’s happening to me?” Irene asked, and when I turned to look at her, I saw she was glowing so brightly it was hard to look directly at her.

She was staring down at her own arms, her eyes wide.

The image of Chuck stood before the real Chuck, their eyes locking for a brief moment, and then the glowing image stepped right into him, making Chuck glow even brighter green than he had a moment ago.

It must have been painful to have his magic returning to him against his will because he gritted his teeth and grunted. His eyes were blazing with fury and pain all at the same time. He lowered himself unable to keep himself on his feet any longer, and I heard the loud growl of his wolf as he tried to fight against it.

But it was already too late; it was in notion.

Taylor stepped back, though he was still alert and protective of those in the room.

The image of Irene waited a moment; her eyes were no longer staring at Chuck, who was on the ground, in pain. Her eyes were fixed on Irene across the room, who was still staring down at her body in panic.

It didn’t look like she was in any pain, but she looked more terrified than anything. I could practically hear the rapid beating of her heart and her quickened breathing.

Irene looked up, as if she could feel eyes on her, and she locked onto the glowing image of her.

I watched the glowing image of Irene lift her hand in a waving motion, and then she blew Irene a

kiss which us all look at one

another in confusion. And then a slight smile tipped the corner of her lips. Irene stared at her in awe, and then she let out a breath, her body visibly relaxing.

A small smile formed on Irene’s lips as well, and tears filled her eyes. Then, the glowing image turned to Chuck and stepped inside of him. just like the other one did. Making him glow even more. This time had

to look away because the glow was overwhelming.
