Chapter : 922

“Trust us…” my magic spoke inside of me, and I closed my eyes, knowing that I could.

When I opened them, everyone stared at me.

“I know what to do,” I told them, and then I walked over to Chuck, my movements careful and my eyes remaining on his.

Taylor tensed when I got too close, and I knew he was about to warn me to stay away from Chuck because he’s dangerous, but I looked at him and gave him an encouraging nod.

“Trust me,” I told him softly. “I can handle this.”

He looked reluctant, but he nodded.

I stepped even closer to Chuck, my eyes stuck on his, and then I sucked in a sharp breath.

“I call to the Siren’s curse, make yourself known to me.”

My voice came out way louder and more powerful than I had ever heard it, and to my utter shock, Chuck’s eyes started to glow green, and I knew it was his magic responding to me. Then a green-like smoke started to shine throughout the room, and I heard Nan suck in a sharp breath.

“Holy shit,” Nan breathed. “Irene’s glowing green, too.”

I didn’t take my eyes off Chuck, and he didn’t take his eyes off me; it was like he was completely stagnant, unable to move.

“Judy?” I heard Cora whisper. “How are you doing this so easily?”

Even though there were elements of the room that were glowing, including Irene, I knew it wasn’t all of the magic. There was a small, stubborn part of the curse that remained hidden; it wasn’t sure how I knew… but something was telling me deep in my gut that I was right.

“I need all of Chuck’s curse to be revealed to me,” I said, louder this time.

I could feel my body tingling, and

then from the corner of my eyes, I felt myself glowing. It wasn’t green like Chuck and Irene, though… glowing as soft white: I could feel my magic pouring out of mein waves, and it was getting even stronger.

Chuck curled his lip up, and though he remained stagnant, I could tell he was fuming at me internally. He was trying to keep his magic away, and parts of the curse were still fighting me.

Then I felt a hand wrapping around mine, fingers entwining, and when I looked down, finally breaking my eyes from Chuck sil saw that Cora: was holding my hands. Then Esme held my other hand. I smiled at them both, relieved to have their help. Cóntent

With that, we all turned to Chuck; they both began to glow as well, as if my magic was stretching onto them as well.

“I am the host of magic,” I said, announcing myself loud and proud. “And I demand that all of Chuck’s curse… the siren’s curse… in this room, is revealed to me.”

And then, as it listened to my every word, a burst of green appeared on the nearby coach. We were quick to whip around and face it, and was shocked to find that the green had outlined two features on the sofa.

Upon closer look, it seemed the green was taking on the form of two figures.

One being Chuck, and the other being…

“Is that…..?” Nan started to ask, and I nodded before she could get the question out.

“It’s Irene,” I whispered.

“What’s it doing?” Taylor asked, his brows furrowed.

It was Esme who responded, her voice almost haunted.

“It’s showing us the exact moment Chuck put a curse on her.”
