Chapter 660
Was it that he never saw them, or was something else going on?
Just as Olivia was lost in thought, her phone buzzed. A message from the hacker appeared on her screen.
[He got the files, and replied by email… I forwarded it to you.]
An email?
Olivia’s heart skipped a beat. She quickly logged in and opened the newest
message.
Dozens of photos.
As soon as she saw who was in them, Olivia’s eyes went wide and her heart started pounding so hard she could barely breathe.
They were intimate pictures of Charlotte and Anthony. Even through the photos, Olivia could feel how much Anthony loved Charlotte. There was a gentle tenderness
in the way he looked at her, something Olivia had never seen before.
She stared at the screen, fingers shaking in disbelief.
Why?
What made Charlotte so special? Why would Anthony still want her, even after seeing those photos of her with other men?
The more Olivia scrolled, the more the jealousy built up inside her.
But it was fine.
Her dad had told her that Charlotte’s body was unusual, that she wasn’t like other people. There was even a chance she wouldn’t live past twenty.
If that was true, Olivia could wait. She’d just have to make it to Charlotte’s twentieth birthday. Once Charlotte was gone, nothing would stand in her way anymore.
Kingswood University, Department of Medicine.
Class 1, Traditional Medicine Major.
When Charlotte stepped into the classroom, everyone was deep in conversation about the upcoming academic exchange at The Cabinda University on Monday. Word was, students from every medicab program in Cabinda would be there, and there were even rumors that people from The Cabinda Medical Branch would show up too.
As usual, three freshmen would be chosen to assist the seniors in a simulated procedure.
“Charlotte, over here!”
As soon as Charlotte walked in, Emma waved at her so enthusiastically that every head in the room turned to look.
Charlotte was wearing a pale blue shirt, her wavy hair falling loosely over her shoulders. She wasn’t dressed up at all, but she still looked gorgeous.
With her stunning looks and her top ranking, Charlotte had quickly become the most talked about girl on campus at Kingswood There was even a photo of her from the combat club hanging on the

university’s homepage. People online joked that her face put even celebrities to shame.
Charlotte made her way over and sat next to Emma. Alvina and Eileen greeted her with bright smiles.
“Charlotte, did you hear? For the exchange, they’re making us dissect white mice. No one in our class signed up,” Emma said, making a face.
They were all first years, most of them had never even killed a chicken, let alone dissected a living mouse.
“The department head already picked the top five students,” someone added.
The list was sorted by entrance exam scores, so Charlotte, being number one, was automatically included.
“Okay,” Charlotte replied, absentmindedly running her fingers over the bracelet Anthony had given her.
Alvina’s eyes widened, like she was afraid Charlotte didn’t realize what she’d signed up for. “Charlotte, it’s a mouse dissection. You actually have to cut open its stomach and… you know, do stuff inside.”
She mimed the movements with her hands.
Just hearing about it made Emma and Eileen break out in goosebumps.
Charlotte looked so delicate, so obviously raised in comfort. She seemed like the type who would jump three feet in the air at the sight of a mouse, let alone touch
one.
The thought of Charlotte’s pale, slender fingers slicing into a little white mouse made them all start to feel sorry for her already.
