“Alphas, this isn’t a porn show. This isn’t about you getting off while watching others get someone off. This class is about instruction. If at any time I feel that you aren’t taking this class seriously or you’ve chosen to watch someone else rather than focus on your own partner, I’ll kick you out. If your partner gives you feedback, such as your touch is painful or too hard and you don’t listen, I’ll kick you out. These women are here as volunteers to give you the practice that you need to learn and to become a better lover.”
“Questions?” Sebastian asks.
When there aren’t any, he continues.
“Some quick housekeeping items. Every time you walk into this room, check your table. Make sure the device is locked so the table doesn’t collapse while your partner is on it. There is a mechanism here,” he says, leaning over the table to point to a switch, “where you can turn the heat on the table. I suggest that you get here early to do that to help your partner relax more quickly. Ladies, there is a hanger right here for your robe. When you come in and are asked to get on the table, you will leave your robe here.”
“Any questions?” he asks as the Alphas all look at their tables, looking to find the switch and where the locks are on the table legs. I’m pleasantly surprised that all five Alphas double check to make sure the locks are on so the tables don’t collapse.
“One final rule. These women aren’t your sex partners, they are volunteers. You will ask permission at each session to touch them in whatever way you think you might want or need to touch them during the class or during any individu- al sessions you have outside of this classroom. If you don’t get their permission ahead of time, you either ask them during your session, or you don’t touch them in a way they haven’t agreed to. That looks something like this,” he says, turning to me.
“Christina, do you agree for me to use my hands and my mouth on your body in any way that I feel will help you re- lax this evening?”
“Yes, Sebastian,” I say.
He smiles then turns back to the class. “Alphas, get permission and ladies, you may get on the table, face down.”
I hop down and remove my robe, noticing that the young Alphas seem too preoccupied to stare up at me while I’m getting on the table. That makes me feel a bit better. When I’m in place, I feel Sebastian slide my hair off my back and then I feel heat beside my head.
“I want to try something tonight. Do you trust me?” he whispers.

“Yes,” I say, nodding.
“Good. When I dismiss class, stay put.”
“Okay.”
I lay there, feeling Sebastian press a hand to my back, as if letting me know he’s there.
“Ezra, Charlotte is shifting around, make sure she’s comfortable.”

I realize he’s waiting to start until everyone is ready. I hear James go over and it sounds like the blanket under Char- lotte bunched and was pressing up into her hips uncomfortably. I’m guessing she raced to get on the bed and just needed to readjust the blanket underneath her.
“I’ll be right back,” he says quietly to me and a moment later, the lights in the room dim. I take a deep breath. As if my body is already trained to respond to the dimming lights, I feel myself start to relax. 2

He keeps his voice low as his thumbs begin working their magic over my shoulders and neck.
“You’ll want to learn where your partners hold their stress. These ladies work hard to make sure that we only have to focus on the educational part of the Academy. They do so much behind the scenes that we can easily forget how stressful their jobs are. It will be the same when you find your mates. Lunas do so much for their Alphas behind the scenes. If she’s your fated mate, the woman who is perfect for you, she’ll anticipate what you need before you do. But you should never take that for granted. You should remind her that you never forget what she does for you and who she is to you.”
His voice is mesmerizing, and I feel myself falling easily into that trance state.
