“Shit, I hadn’t even thought of that. Cassie isn’t planning to be a Luna either, she’s planning to be a financial advisor.” He looks thoughtful for a moment, then shrugs. “I could make that work. She’d be bringing money into the pack and knowing her, she’d take on both jobs.”
He gets a faraway look on his face as he smiles. “I think I’ll talk to her about it, see what she thinks. With everything I’ll be walking into when I get home, I want things between us to be steady.”
“When’s your birthday?” I ask him.
“Two weeks before the end of the semester.”
“And hers?” Justin asks.
“The day before graduation,” he says smiling.
“So you’ll know before you leave here. T and I both have birthdays after we get home. Mine is first and I’ll be taking over the pack from Christian afterward, so it will be a chaotic time. Maybe you’re right. Maybe it’s better to talk about it while we’re here, lay everything on the table.”
“For you especially, Shane,” Justin says. “With your trust issues, you need to feel confident that you know what’s up between you so nothing gets misconstrued between birthdays, taking over the pack, and Christian and Enya leaving your pack. You don’t want to have any doubts with all of that going on.”

I chuckle. “That’s a good question. I have no idea what they’re planning. I need to call him anyway. I never apologized for the way I acted towards him during hell week.”
“You’ve been a little busy and I’m sure he understands. He’s been in your shoes, Shane,” Cole says.
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t apologize. A good Alpha admits when they’re wrong,” I say, thinking of Tiana and her saying she knows what makes a good Alpha.
I’ve always wanted her to think highly of me and that feeling has only intensified since we’ve started rebuilding ourselves. The closer we become, the more intense our feelings for each other become, the

I grin.
“What are you thinking?” Cole asks me.
My grin widens. “I’m thinking of what my life will be like with Hurricane Sebastiana as my mate.
Cole snorts, then both of them burst out laughing. It’s only a moment before I join them.
If Sebastiana truly is my mate, my life will never, ever be dull again.

“It really does, but it gets a lot better after that,” she says.
“It already has. To what do I owe this call?”
It’s not that I don’t want to talk to my bestie, but it’s not typical for anyone to call while you’re at the Academy. Everyone knows you barely have time to sleep, much less chat.
Christian puts his head in the image. “Hey sis. You’re looking and sounding a hell of a lot better.”
“Hey, bro. Thanks. I wasn’t happy that you called mom, but it’s exactly what I needed.”
“I’m glad it helped,” he says.
“Is Shane with you, by chance?” Enya asks.
“No. Do you need him too?” I ask.
“We sort of wanted to tell you both at the same time,” she says, looking at Christian and blushing.
“Baby news?” I ask excitedly.
Enya nods. “You two are the first people we wanted to tell, and we were hoping to tell you together.”
