Chapter 64

A thought springs to life in my mind, a way to get her ready for being touched in the class and maybe have her or- gasm on the classroom table after everyone is done for the night. When I’m done, I join the Managing the Pack class. This is Daniel’s class, but I’m his back up. This, unlike the ones that James and I teach, is a classroom setting. The six students file in and Christina walks up front.
“Alphas, is there anything I need to do to help assist in this class?”
I look at Daniel. He’s the lead, but he has his own assistant, and Mia is more than capable.
“I think we’re good Christina. Mia is proving to be an excellent assistant,” he says smiling at her. “ It’s good to have someone who is used to filling in the gaps of an Alpha.”
“I’ve got your back, Alpha,” Mia says smiling. “But here, Christina, you can pass these out on your way back to your seat,” Mia tells her, handing her a stack of workbooks that we’ll be using in this class.
Since it’s the first class, I let Daniel do most of the talking. James and I usually assess our new instructors to see if they are good at teaching. Daniel is straightforward and no nonsense, but I think he’ll do well here.
I add my own feedback when he asks or when my experience differs from his, but mostly, I focus on the students and specifically Chistina. She is taking more notes than the others. It could be that she’s more conscientious, but I think it has more to do with her lack of knowledge and preparation for managing a pack. She’s not an Alpha heir and the only other person writing as much as she is, is Tyler.
We won’t have time to meet tonight because of class, but I make a mental note to talk to her about the class tomorrow when it’s my turn to be the partner. Heat flares in my body at the thought. I shake my head. I need to focus. I shift in my seat, trying to find a more comfortable position now that my cock has responded to the idea of Christina touching me. When Sylvie walks out, he slaps her ass, hard. She turns and raises an eyebrow at him.
“Stop marking your territory, Alpha.”
“Never,” he says, watching her walk away.

I narrow my eyes when he turns to me. “Are you sure you’re going to be okay with this set up?” I ask him. He knows I’m talking about the sex class.
“I don’t have a choice.”
“You always have a choice.”
He presses his lips together tightly. “Did you need something?” he asks, shutting the conversation down. If I had more time, I’d press, but I don’t. That doesn’t mean I won’t be revisiting this later.
“Yeah, I need advice.”
He relaxes and leans against the wall. “What’s up?”
I sigh and run my fingers through my hair. “I’m just going to ask.”
“Good, that would help, I’m hungry,” he says, sounding more like himself.
