It makes me wonder how good he is in bed. I wonder if I’ll ever get the chance to find out. I mean, I know I’ll be learning how to please him, but it’s not the same. The man is a master and I’m more than happy to let him use my body as the instrument to create his masterpieces. But the Alpha in me also wants to make him feel the same way he’s made me feel. “What did Alpha James say?”
“He asked me if I wanted him booted from the Academy. I told him I’d give him one more chance but if he pulls that shit again, he’s out.”
“I think that’s more than fair and honestly, I’m glad it was you and not Charlotte or Haley.”
“Me too. That’s what I keep thinking about. I’m outspoken. I’m used to dealing with arrogant Alphas. They aren’t and might not have said anything. I know she–wolves throw themselves at Alphas, and he’s not used to having to ask per- mission, but not doing so just tells me how incredibly arrogant he is.”
“Hopefully, he’ll get his shit together.”
“Hopefully,” she says as Tyler and Alpha James walk in.
“Luna Mia, how are you, after last night, I mean?” Tyler asks her, obviously concerned.
I turn to make coffee for Alpha James while he watches their interaction, checking on Mia again this morning. Alpha Daniel walks in while they’re talking and looks at Alpha James and I.
“What’d I miss? ”

By the time breakfast is served, everyone knows what Liam has done and when he tried to approach Mia, she’d snarled at him.
This morning at Strength class, I’m not surprised to see Noah and Logan smack themselves on the first challenge. Lo- gan, however, managed to use his upper body strength to get to the platform but he didn’t make it up the bar ladder. Tyler made it through the arrows but got knocked off and burned in the fire section. Ezra and Liam went down in the arrow section, and I slipped and fell in the ice section again.
Now that we’re all a bit more used to the Beast, we finish the challenges and start sparring. It’s my first real day of sparring since we arrived. Most of us are a bit sore and Tyler has to sit out because of the burns on his arm and torso, but I get paired with Alpha Benjamin.
“Let’s see what you’ve got young Alpha,” he says to me.
I snort. “I not as young as they are.”
“You’re not as old as I am either,” he says and gives me the gesture to go at him.
I go at him hard, using the skills I’ve learned over years of training. There’s a reason Dane wants me as his Lead War- rior. I’m the best warrior in our pack next to him and he wants me to train our warriors to be stronger.
I almost take Alpha Benjamin down several times before he dances back and laughs.
“Damn you’re good,” he says.
“I’m sure I’ll be better before the end of the semester,” I say to him. He’s giving me a good challenge and I’m enjoy- ing it.
“Are you ready?” he asks me, getting set again.
“Bring it, Alpha,” I say and man does he. He’s fast, but not as fast as Dane. He nearly takes me down as many times as I nearly took him down. But I’m solid on my feet and fast at ducking and springing into the air when his long legs swing out at me.
