I watch Christian as I looks from Sebastiana to Shane.
“I won’t hurt your sister, Christian. I promise,” Shane says. Sebastiana
snorts.
“He’s not worried about me,” she says.
Shane looks at Sebastiana, then raises his eyebrow at Christian.
“She’s right. I’m more worried about you,” Christian says, shocking me. My brother may only be sixteen, but he’s an excellent fighter.
“Are you kidding me right now?” Shane asks Christian but it’s Sebastiana who answers.
“My father,” she says, pointing to Alpha Sebastian, “number one on the leaderboard. My mother,” she says, shifting her finger to point to her mother. “Number two on the leaderboard and the first Alpha female to ever get on the leaderboard. My brother,” her finger moves to Christian this time. “Number one on the leaderboard. My half–brother, Ryan, number one on the leaderboard. His son, Raif, number one on the leaderboard. I turn and look at her. “Alright.”
“Yes!” she says, pumping her arm then pointing to Shane. “You’re next, Alpha. I need to scope out my competition ahead of time.”
“I guess I should be thankful she at least considers me competition.” Shane murmurs, obviously irritated.
“Christian, why don’t you coach your sister, and I’ll coach Enya,” Alpha Sebastian says.
“No fair! You know my weaknesses,” Sebastiana says.
“And Christian knows Enya’s. I think it’s very fair. If anything, it’s unfair to Enya because Christian knows both of your strengths and weaknesses,” he says.
“Fine,” Sebastiana says, then we both step up to our coaches.
“Let her come to you, then when she gives you an opening, punch

“Don’t. It will be your downfall. Trust me, my daughter is an
exceptional fighter. Don’t worry about hurting her. As she said, she’s sparred with many of the best in the world.”

“You’re an Alpha female. Make sure you prove it,” he says to me, then nods encouragingly.
We take our places and get into position.
“Ready? Spar!” Alpha Christina says.
Just like Alpha Sebastian said, Sebastiana immediately goes on the offensive, rushing forward. I dodge her punches and kicks and when the opening presents itself, I send a hard punch to her ribs.
“Yes, Enya! Nice hit, ” Alpha Sebastian says.
