Daven lowered his phone slowly. His expression was calm—too calm for a situation like this. He looked from
Chris to Cale in turn.

“SAY IT!” Daven roared, his voice echoing through the dim room.
Oscar twisted a crooked smile through the pain. Fresh blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, dripping slowly onto the concrete floor. “Callister Group has to be destroyed,” he said, gasping through the agony. Systematically. Slowly. Until there’s not a single way left for them to save themselves p>
Daven’s grip tightened.
“Daven has to go to prison,” Oscar went on. “That’s the primary condition p>
The room seemed to shrink in an instant. Cold air pressed heavily against everyone’s chest.

Oscar looked away for a brief second, then lifted his gaze again. “She has to get into the Miller family house,” he answered without hesitation. “By any means necessary.

Cale shoved Oscar back into the chair roughly. It screeched against the floor before stopping. His men moved quickly, tightening the restraints around Oscar’s body-ignoring his pained groans as the ropes dug mercilessly
into his skin.
