Chapter 743
“You’re… serious?”
The question slipped out the moment Naomi stepped into the dining room. She had just overheard Cale informing Lydia that for the next few days, they would be staying at the Chen family’s main residence.
Naomi had thought Lydia would disagree.
But instead…
“Yes, I think you’re right. It would be more appropriate for us to stay there. Including Naomi.”
And that was exactly what made Naomi feel like she had misheard everything.
She had assumed Cale’s words about the Chen family’s grand gathering were just casual talk. But apparently, it was truly happening soon.
“You thought I was joking?” Cale clicked his tongue softly before continuing his breakfast as if this discussion were completely ordinary.
“Come here,” Lydia said much more gently. “You should finish your breakfast and get ready. We’re going back to the Chen residence.”
“We’re staying there?”
“For a while,” Lydia answered.
Naomi stared at Cale intensely, but the man gave absolutely no reaction. Meanwhile, Lydia once again gestured for Naomi to sit beside her.
Eat breakfast.
Get ready.
Return to the place they had only just visited yesterday. Live there for some time. And no one knew for
Everything depended on Cale.

t take long before they were once again seated inside the car. Their destination had already been cided, and when they finally arrived, Naomi realized she truly needed to start getting used to all these respectful greetings.
And of course, the security surrounding the residence was unbelievably tight.
Just like when she stayed at Cale’s mansion.
“Can I look around?” Naomi asked the moment they entered the family sitting room.
The room was enormous, decorated with old paintings that somehow still looked elegant and luxurious.

“Be back within an hour. There’s someone you need to meet,” Cale said without even looking at her. From the moment they arrived, he had already become occupied with several matters. Meanwhile, Lydia simply nodded in approval.
Even so, Naomi could tell Lydia was just as busy as Cale.
“Okay.” Naomi smiled brightly.
Unfortunately…
As though things still weren’t overwhelming enough, the moment Naomi tried wandering through the house again, a servant stopped her. Two women dressed in formal attire immediately bowed respectfully toward her. “Miss Chen.”
Naomi stopped walking immediately.
She turned toward Lydia in confusion. Lydia sat calmly on the sofa with one of Cale’s work tablets in her hands, completely at ease. As if she could tell Naomi felt awkward hearing that title, Lydia merely smiled.
“You’ll get used to it.”
Naomi frowned in protest. “Why are you calling me that again? Just call me Naomi,” she said to the two
female attendants.
The women exchanged nervous glances before lowering their heads apologetically.
“We couldn’t possibly do that, Miss Chen. You are our master.”
Lydia tried to suppress a laugh, but before she could say anything, Cale interrupted first.
“Starting today, you need to get used to it. No complaints.”
Naomi’s pout deepened instantly. “I don’t want to get used to it.”
“Unfortunately, you don’t have a choice.”
Naomi let out a quiet groan and threw herself dramatically onto the sofa in the middle of the room. Even
attendants remained standing attentively nearby.
u two want?” Naomi asked suspiciously.
e appointed by Master Kai to become your personal assistants. There are several things we’d o explain to you, if you don’t mind.”
Naomi released a long sigh. Her eyes drifted toward Cale and Lydia, who still looked busy with their respective matters. “Fine. But afterward, I want to explore the house.”
“Of course, Miss Chen,” one of them answered immediately.
“Only thirty minutes,” Cale said firmly. “The person handling your wardrobe will arrive soon.”
“What?”

But Cale gave no further response.
Even after Liu entered and began discussing something with him in a low voice, Cale completely ignored
Naomi afterward.
That only irritated her more.
She immediately stormed out of the sitting room with emotional, hurried steps.
“Miss Chen, please wait for us!”
Naomi kept walking, leaving the family room behind and heading toward the back garden nearby. The two women hurried after her while continuing to explain small details, including which room she would
be staying in.
