The call ended. Daven lowered his phone slowly, his gaze fixed forward once more. The road ahead was clear, allowing the car to maintain high speed. He was racing against time-and hoping he wouldn’t arrive too late.

Meanwhile, heading in the opposite direction-with a far larger convoy-Cale and Chris were on their way to a location they were almost certain Harold was using as a hideout. Their move wasn’t reckless. Another team had already been deployed ahead of them, surveilling the area and ensuring there were no suspicious movements.
“Faster,” Cale said coldly from the front seat of the lead car.
The driver nodded without a word.
Chris sat beside him; eyes fixed on the tablet in his hands. “Harold’s phone last pinged in the old harbor district. North of his previous location. From what I can see, it looks like an abandoned warehouse area p>

“Or to wait,” Chris replied. “He’s too confident to run now p>

“We won’t be,” Chris cut in firmly. “His business with Daven isn’t finished yet. Someone like Harold doesn’t leave before making sure everything has completely collapsed p>
The car made a sharp turn into a narrow road. Harbor lights began to appear in the distance-dim, sparse.
“Any word from Detective Aaron? We can’t let Oscar’s communication with Harold make him suspicious p>
“Yes. I’m still monitoring it,” Chris said.
“When we get there,” Cale said, his hands tightening together, “I want him alive p>
Chris glanced over. “And after that p>
“After that,” Cale replied without hesitation, “I won’t lock him away easily. I want him to say everything. Nothing left out p>
Chris studied his older brother briefly. Compared to Chase, Cale was far more ruthless-especially when it came to family. Anything that stood in the way of his objective could be dealt with swiftly. There were only two options: comply with what Cale wanted or disappear in the way Cale chose.
But that only happened when someone crossed a line Cale had already drawn. As long as the competition stayed fair and within reason, Cale would never be the first to resort to violence.
“I hope this never happens again,” Chris murmured softly, leaning back against the passenger seat as the car continued to push forward at high speed.
They were racing against time.
