Pete moved fast, instinct overriding thought as he lunged for the phone, relief flickered across his face before he could stop it.

Voren had a long-standing habit of destroying whatever was within reach when his temper snapped, glass, screens, and even furniture.

That was why Pete had personally ensured that most items in the office, especially Voren’s phone, were reinforced or shockproof. It wasn’t aesthetics, but a way of saving cost.

Ravyn frowned, immediately catching the tension in Voren’s rigid posture, the hard set of his jaw. Whatever this was, seemed urgent. Without protest, he rose to his feet and rather dismissed the meeting

Confused glances followed them as the staff filed out, murmuring among themselves. The door hadn’t even fully closed behind the last person when Voren punched Ravyn in the face, the impact was sharp, brutal.

Ravyn staggered back, more from shock than pain, his head snapping to the side. He didn’t retaliate, just stared at Voren, stunned.

“What has gotten into you?” Ravyn asked, genuinely bewildered, but Voren’s chest heaved, his fist trembled at his side as fury battled disbelief in his eyes.

Then he stopped short when he saw it. The honesty and confusion, real, and unguarded. “How could you?” Voren demanded hoarsely. “How could you do this, Ravyn p>

Ravyn stared blankly, wondering if it was about his plummeting stocks but Voren pulled out his phone and shoved it forward, playing the video.

The sounds spilled into the quiet office, too familiar, too intimate, and unmistakable. Ravyn’s eyes widened in horror, color draining from his face. “No,” he breathed. “Where did you get this p>

“Does it matter?” Voren snapped. “It’s everywhere around the packs, gone viral p>

Ravyn fumbled for his own phone, fingers unsteady as he unlocked it. The moment the screen lit up, his worst fear confirmed itself. The video sat there, shared, reposted, dropped into multiple pack group chats like poison.

His throat tightened painfully. By now, everyone in his pack had seen it and yet, he whom the video concerned, was now seeing it. “How is this possible?” Ravyn whispered, his voice breaking despite himself.

“Only you and Daisy can answer that,” Voren said coldly, his anger burning. “I’ve been bending over backward trying to clean up the disaster you dragged me into, and this is what I get in return p>

If this video fell in the hands of any of the human business partners, Ravyn would be as good as destroyed and being his best friend, Voren would also face a backlash. His stocks might even pay for it.

Watching himself exposed like cheap entertainment like a pornographic clip circulating for public consumption was humiliation no Alpha could endure.

He dialed Damon immediately. “What the hell is going on?” Ravyn barked the moment the call connected. “How did something from my bedroom leak to the entire pack p>

“Alpha,” Damon replied tensely, “I saw it as soon as it surfaced, and I’ve been trying to get it taken down, but every hacker I contacted hit a wall. Whoever did this covered their tracks perfectly p>

He paused, as if thinking carefully through his next words. “Since only you and Daisy were recorded, you may need to speak to her, and he paused again, gulping saliva. “She’s locked herself in her room since it went viral p>

Daisy. The name hit Ravyn like an afterthought sharpened into guilt. Ravyn ended the call and dialed her number. At first, there were only sobs, broken breaths, and incoherent apologies.

Then finally, through tears, the truth spilled out, if only it was the whole truth. “Rav,” Daisy cried, “I recorded it… secretly. I just she hiccupped. “I wanted something to keep me company when you were away.” She sniffed. “I never meant for anyone else to see it p>

She took deep breaths before speaking through sobs once more, stammering. “Somehow… somehow I sent it to Seraphine by accident. I didn’t even realize until it was everywhere. How…how could she do this to me p>

“Sera,” he muttered darkly, rage flooding his veins. “You’re vile, absolutely vile, and you won’t get away with this p>

He was about to call her when Voren’s phone rang. It was Pete, so Voren answered, his tone clipped. “What is it p>

“Sir,” Pete said carefully, “she agreed, so we’re meeting at the restaurant in an hour p>
