Alpha’s Regret The Seventh Time was Forever Chapter 147

Chapter 147

We killed her child, and you really think she’s going to save ours?
As an Alpha, Ravyn wasn’t built to tolerate disrespect, not from anyone, and definitely not from someone like Daisy’s parents, no matter what he claimed to feel for her, because in his world, hierarchy wasn’t just a title, it was everything, and Daisy’s parents stood far beneath him in that order whether they liked it or not.

The irony of it all ran deeper than most people would notice.

Daisy’s parents were in the rank of omegas, and it was Seraphine’s mother who brought Daisy’s mother into the pack house so she could help care for Seraphine while also easing the burden on Daisy’s own mother.

Over time, that simple arrangement had turned into something much more personal, because Seraphine’s mother had grown genuinely fond of Daisy, treating her like more than just the daughter of a nanny, and more like family, and somehow, all of that had led to this.

“Excuse me?” Ravyn’s voice cut through the air, sharp and explosive, his anger rising fast as he held the phone to his ear. “You better remember who you’re speaking to.”

On the other end, the elderly man faltered for a brief moment, clearly shaken by the intensity of Ravyn’s tone, but whatever fear he felt didn’t last long enough to silence him.

“I’m sorry,” the man said, his voice steadier now, carrying a weight that came from conviction rather than hesitation, “but you’ve made the worst mistake of your life.”

There was a pause, just long enough for the words to settle before he continued, more firmly this time. “As for Daisy, we don’t want her anymore. I didn’t raise a homewrecker, and I’m not going to support what you’ve done, not now, not ever, even if it costs me everything.”

The line went dead before Ravyn could respond. For a second, there was silence.

Then Damon let out a slow breath, relief washing over him in a way he didn’t bother hiding, because finally, someone had said it out loud, taken a stand for dignity, instead of bending around Ravyn’s authority.

To him, Ravyn and Daisy were beyond redemption at this point.

“Are you going to tell me who you’ve been calling now?” Ravyn’s voice broke through again, colder this time, more dangerous as he turned his attention back to Daisy.

Before she could react, he grabbed her arm and yanked her forward, dragging her out of the ward with a force that left no room for resistance.

Damon followed immediately, a bad feeling settling in his gut, and by the time he caught up, the scene in front of him made his steps falter for just a second.

Ravyn had Daisy lifted off the ground, his hand wrapped tightly around her neck, cutting off her air as her feet dangled helplessly, her hands clawing weakly at his grip.

Damon moved without thinking. “Alpha, stop,” he said quickly, stepping in and grabbing Ravyn’s arm, his tone urgent but controlled. “This isn’t the way to handle this.”

He didn’t just say it for Daisy’s sake. If anything, Daisy didn’t deserve an easy way out, not after everything she had done, not after the lies she spread about Seraphine, the damage she caused, because Damon knew Seraphine well enough to understand that a quick death wouldn’t be justice in her eyes.

Daisy would have to confess all she had done before facing death if she needed to or living the rest of her life in shame. “She needs to face everything she’s done,” he added, his voice lower now, more calculated. “There are better ways to find the truth, and her phone alone could tell you everything.”

That was enough. Ravyn’s grip tightened for a split second before he went completely still, the logic cutting through his anger just enough to make him release her.

Daisy collapsed to the ground the moment his hand let go, gasping for air as she struggled to steady herself, her chest rising and falling rapidly while Ravyn reached down and snatched her phone without hesitation.

He tried unlocking it, only to realize it was secured.

His gaze snapped back to her instantly. “You’re going to give me the password,” he said, his voice low and threatening, “or I’ll make you regret not doing it willingly.”

Daisy didn’t argue. She gave it to him, her voice shaky, her body still recovering from the lack of air.

Ravyn unlocked the phone and went through it quickly, his eyes scanning everything with sharp focus, but the more he looked, the more his expression changed.

There was nothing. No messages, no call logs that mattered, nothing that proved what he was expecting to find, not even the messages he himself had sent before leaving the city.

Zane might have been bleeding Daisy dry financially, but he was also careful, cleaning up every trace that could expose him, keeping everything hidden where only he could use it when needed.

Ravyn let out a low chuckle, but there was no humor in it, only something strained, something that sat heavy in his eyes.

“No more phones for you,” he said finally, his voice flat as he looked down at her. “I’m taking Bryan with me, and if you need to reach me, you’ll do it through Damon.”

Daisy pushed herself up quickly, panic rising as the reality of his words sank in. “Wait,” she said, her voice breaking slightly as she took a step toward him. “Where are you taking Bryan?”

Ravyn didn’t hesitate or hide it from her. What mattered was for his son to be saved, and it didn’t matter who. “To Seraphine,” he answered, his expression cold, his decision already made. “She might hate me, but she won’t just stand by and let Bryan die.”

For a moment, Daisy just stared at him.

Then she shook her head, disbelief flashing across her face as something almost hysterical crept into her voice. “You’ve lost your mind,” she said, her words coming faster now, sharper. “We killed her child, and you really think she’s going to save ours?”
