Alpha’s Regret The Seventh Time was Forever Chapter 483

Chapter 483 Sera, there is a problem

Remembering Voren’s plan to surprise Seraphine with breakfast in bed, Corvine chose his words carefully so he wouldn’t accidentally ruin it. “You should get ready first,” he replied with an easy, relaxed smile. “I’ll go get ready too. Voren should be here any minute.”

He started to walk away but stopped himself. “Oh, I almost forgot.” Turning back to Seraphine, he rubbed the back of his neck a little awkwardly. “Can I borrow some clothes for Athaliah? Her father refused to let her take anything with her, even his driver, just because she accepted Voren’s rejection.”

Seraphine let out a deep sigh of pure frustration. “That man is absolutely impossible.” She shook her head, clearly annoyed by the Alpha King’s ridiculous behavior. “I have plenty of clothes I’ve never even worn. I’ll find something nice for her.”

A few minutes later, she came back carrying several neatly folded outfits. “There should be something in here that fits perfectly.”

Corvine accepted them with a grateful smile. “Thank you, Sera.”

“You’re welcome,” she said warmly.

Without wasting any more time, Corvine headed back to his room to get ready.

Not long after he left, the bedroom door opened again. Voren stepped in carefully, carrying a large tray loaded with food. The rich, mouthwatering aroma of homemade soup filled the entire room before he even reached the bed. His face lit up with pure joy the second he saw Seraphine already sitting up.

“So much for surprising you with breakfast in bed,” he laughed softly, setting the tray down on the table in front of her. “Looks like my beautiful wife decided to wake up early today.”

Seraphine’s eyes immediately locked onto the food. The smell alone made her stomach growl loudly with hunger. She broke into a huge, beaming smile. “It smells absolutely amazing.”

Without waiting another second, she grabbed the spoon and took her first taste. The warm, comforting flavor spread across her tongue instantly, and her eyes widened in delight. It tasted even better than she’d imagined. She happily took another bite, then another, savoring every spoonful.

Halfway through, she noticed Voren hadn’t touched his own food yet. She looked up at him curiously. “Aren’t you eating?”

Voren rested his elbow on the armrest and simply watched her with soft, loving eyes. “I want to make sure you eat until you’re completely full first.”

His smile faded for a moment as worry crept in. “After everything that’s happened lately…” His jaw tightened with tension. “Who knows what that bitch is planning next?”

Seraphine’s heart swelled with warmth at how protective he was. She reached across the table and gently nudged his arm. “There’s more than enough for both of us.” A tender smile spread across her lips. “Come eat with me.”

Voren couldn’t refuse her. He picked up his spoon, and the two of them quietly enjoyed the meal together. Between bites, they laughed over little things, and for the first time in days, the room felt truly peaceful and full of warmth.

When they finished eating, Seraphine leaned back with a deeply satisfied sigh. She looked at Voren with open admiration shining in her eyes. “Did you really make this yourself?”

A proud smile crossed his face. “Dad walked me through every single step.” He chuckled softly. “I honestly didn’t think I’d enjoy cooking, but seeing you enjoy it like this…” He shrugged with a big grin. “It was worth every single minute.”

Seraphine smiled even wider. “You did an amazing job.”

That simple compliment made every second he’d spent in the kitchen feel completely worthwhile.

After cleaning and dressing up, the two of them stepped outside together. Almost at the exact same moment, Corvine walked out of his room with Athaliah right beside him.

Athaliah looked completely transformed from the night before. She wore one of Seraphine’s outfits beautifully, and the grateful smile lighting up her face made the whole look even better.

“Luna Sera,” she said warmly, gently smoothing the sleeves. “Thank you so much for letting me borrow these.”

Her eyes sparkled with excitement. “When I visit New York, I’ll design some gorgeous outfits for you as payment.”

Seraphine waved her hand dismissively with a laugh. “You don’t owe me anything. Voren buys me way too many clothes anyway.” She glanced down at her own outfit and smiled. “I’m actually happy someone else gets to wear them.”

Athaliah laughed lightly. “I’ll still make you something special.” Then her expression turned playfully knowing. “You two are really good at keeping secrets.” Her eyes moved between Voren and Seraphine. “Now that I know yours, I’ll protect it.”

Seraphine smiled back, deeply grateful for her understanding. They didn’t need to even tell her.

Before long, everyone headed toward the vehicles. After what had happened the previous night, Corvine decided not to ride with Voren and Seraphine this time.

If anything unexpected popped up again, traveling separately would make it way easier to move quickly.

Athaliah joined him without a single complaint.

The drive to the Centenary Pack turned out to be peaceful and calm. Unlike the day before, the skies had cleared up beautifully. The snow had finally stopped falling, though the crisp winter air still hung heavy across the mountains.

By the time they arrived, pack warriors were already directing guests toward the festival grounds. The celebration was set up in the large training field where outdoor drills usually took place.

It was close to the hill where Seraphine formerly stood to scream Ravyn’s name and the sight of it made her bitter.

Right in the center of the open space roared a massive bonfire, its bright flames leaping high into the evening sky and sending powerful waves of warmth through the chilly air. With so many guests, a regular campfire would never have been enough.

Everyone had come dressed for the cold weather, thick coats, scarves, gloves, and sturdy boots filled the gathering as laughter and cheerful voices echoed all around the field.

Corvine naturally moved closer to Seraphine, with Athaliah staying right beside him. Meanwhile, Voren excused himself and headed toward the group of Alphas gathered near the front.

Kael soon joined Corvine, and the three of them settled onto wooden stools arranged around the blazing fire. More guests kept arriving every few minutes. Warm greetings, bright laughter, and friendly conversations blended together into a lively, joyful atmosphere.

The delicious smell of grilled barbecue drifted through the air while servers carried trays of drinks, and soft music played in the background.

The whole celebration reminded Seraphine of the last Full Moon Festival. Back then, as the night grew darker, too many people had lost control, too much alcohol, too many reckless choices, and way too many regrets.

She silently promised herself that this festival would be completely different. This time, nothing was going to ruin the night.

That hopeful thought had barely settled in her mind when two familiar figures appeared.

Ravyn… and Daisy.

Before she could say jack, her phone rang, and she answered without checking the caller. “Sera, there is a problem.”

It was Damon.
