Susan clenched her fists and charged at Penelope, looking ready to throw a punch.

She called the police first, while Susan called her insurance company.
The traffic police and the insurance adjuster arrived quickly. Penelope shrugged. “I don’t have a problem with her, but she seems to hold some deep-seated hatred for me. She just said she wanted to run me over and kill me.”
The police officer and the insurance adjuster exchanged a few words. Then, the officer called for backup.
“This isn’t a simple traffic accident; it involves assault. I think you should both cooperate with a police investigation.”
“What assault? This was a normal accident! I hit her by mistake!” Susan protested, sensing the situation was turning against her.
“Ms. Jones, our preliminary assessment suggests you intentionally crashed into the other vehicle. If the investigation confirms this, our company will not cover the damages,” the adjuster stated calmly.
“You won’t pay? Why not? I pay my premiums, you have to cover it!” Susan panicked.
“If everyone acted like you, deliberately causing accidents just because they have insurance, we’d have gone bankrupt long ago.”
“Who said it was deliberate? Don’t you dare accuse me!”
“The police will conduct a thorough investigation, and we will abide by their findings.”
As the adjuster started to leave, Susan rushed to block his path.
Penelope walked over. “How much would it cost to repair my car?”
